@sammasaaron @Pillendreher @Lasch @Legendary_Dork Good for us then. Stone Cold should get something going. :)

@sammasaaron @Lasch @Legendary_Dork Why do the Spurs hat Joey Crawford?
@Butterfingers Ah ok my bad. They sure are. Even Lamb is more athletic, right?
6 months, 1 week ago on Friday Bolts – 5.23.14
@Butterfingers He's still atheltic enough not to suck this badly though.
@Butterfingers You mean Thabo's not athletic?
@Butterfingers I'm not even sure if Thabo's playing another minute in this series. He's been horrible offensively (He's hit as many 3s since the Allstarbreak as Green hit in games 1 and 2) and his defensive hasn't been nearly good enough to make up for the lack of offense provided by him.
@fun police I'm still thinking that with other lineups and rotation this team would look much better. Yet an offensive system wouldn't hurt either.
@Bry Bry @Lost Ones At least Lamb's role surely was reduced after Butler's signing.
@Lost Ones Come on now. The series has been terrible for OKC, but even with the decisions made by Brooks OKC still shouldn't have lost the way they lost. They clearly are better than that, even without Ibaka.
@Butterfingers It might be a case of "Try to run them out of the building" for sure. But I still kinda like it. What's the point of playing Thabo, Fish and Caron if you still have all that young talent on the bench. Let's give those guys a try. They can't be worse.
@Bry Bry @Pillendreher That might be true but considering this team is massively underperforming, I can't help but smile at the attempt to reduce the whole squad to pure athleticism.
What do you guys think about the starting five Anthony Slater proposed in the last Thunder Buddies podcast?
Westbrook-Lamb-Durant-PJIII-Adams with Jackson leading the bench squad.
@Butterfingers Exactly. You can't tell me the Spurs are as athletic as the Thunder.
@AlexR44 Kudos for the "The League" reference.

@AIaska They we're hugging. Huge difference there.

@shiki @exclamatory remark Flop City also best at whining. At least best at something I guess.

@Air Bud Correct me if I'm wrong but a few years back, the refs started calling Allen's way of defending just 2 oder 3 games into the series. This year, they don't call shit unfortunately.
7 months ago on Wednesday Bolts – 4.30.14
@Tvaddic Way to go Brooks. let me guess..."We have to make shots"?
@KCScuba seems to me we just have to win the first three quarters and we're good to go.
@sammasaaron @King of Carrot Flowers the Third Now that would be a hell of a motivational coach.
7 months ago on Too little, too late: Thunder fall in Game 5
@FearTheStraw You consider DeRozan a spacer and knock down shooter? Westbrook and DeRozan on the same team...that should be fun.
@TheGlove @Pillendreher@Zach99True, but that doesn't justify them missing the time as well.
7 months ago on Grizzlies vs. Thunder: Game 5 Pregame Primer
@TheGlove @Zach99 But what's the point of checking if they still get it wrong? I mean everyone in front of their TV saw that there should be more time on the clock, but the refs didn't?
@OKC_Gooner @Pillendreher@Lambo Serge the III@Marty_McFly321My pleasure.
7 months ago on Tuesday Bolts – 4.29.14
@Lambo Serge the III @Marty_McFly321 And that's still cutting the Grizzlies some slack.
@Marty_McFly321 We so informed you thusly.
@Perk-Punt Well I think they do grind it out because the suck offensively. The rely on keeping the game slow and keeping the other team from scoring. Like we've seen with game 2,3 and 4, it can work quite well for them if the opponent's not hitting anyting. But let's face it...give me KD and Russel in normal shape with their standard shooting performances and we're already talking about 2nd round matchups. That's what still bums me out the most about last year's series: They really weren't that great, they just got lucky to pull enough wins against a team deeply impacted by the loss of a major player.
@f5alcon If they do; I see a blowout on the horizon.
@dollarbillrussell Sure, it's still a long road to go. But I somehow feel the possible emergence of Jackson is what's missing for this team to really take a step forward. Like we've seen it's quite possible to focus a team's defense on Durant and Westbrook, but counting in a third guy....not so much I'd say.
7 months ago on Reggie Jackson saves the world as OKC takes Game 4
How great would it be if this was somewhat of a Harden-game for Reggie. It sure felt like it down the strech....give Jackson the ball and good things will happen.
@OKC_Gooner @PillendreherTo clarify something: That's just some pic I found....and I'm a dude :)
Well I got an League Pass subscription, so watching the games is not a problem, but I can't get up every night cause it messes with my whole schedule and rhythm....
7 months ago on Thunder vs. Grizzlies: Pregame Primer
@OKC_Gooner @Pillendreher Germany. Damn timezones messing up my viewing the games live, but I'll still get up tonight. Heck, you have to do it while you still can. :)
@Prodigy-X @MJOKC And what about PJIII? He's been hitting shots and should come in handy on the defensive side with his lenght and athleticism.
@AlexR44 @Pillendreher I even gave myself an NBA-break because I was watching to many games. How do guys do it with multiple games everyday?
Btw: Last time I got up to watch a Thunder game they lost the 4th game in the 2013 Memphis series. Every 4th game I watched in the last 2 years resulted in a loss. Seems like I'm a bad omen. :)
Hope it'll be worth getting up at 3:30 am. Thunder UP!
Man I can't stand "The Mavs didn't get dominated, so they're still very likely to win the series". Guess what...Dallas didn't dominate OKC either. OKC won both with a struggling Kevin Durant and is still waiting for the type of performance they showed against the Heat or Bulls, whereas Dallas doesn't seem to be able to be that better than they've already been. I don't understand why almost everybody wants to put OKC in such a tough position even though they looked like the vet team who could win even though their best player didn't play good twice.

@gnaygg I guess because they think both Harden and Ibaka would be getting Max-contracts on the open-market...

What do you think about this article?
@JamesChurch Nice one mate! Fortunately, it's 7 pm here :) Thank God for the Sunday Showcase :)
2 years, 7 months ago on Bulls vs. Thunder: Pregame Primer
@[censored] yeah I didn't like it either. Both Utah SFs had easy baskets cause Durant didn't pay attention on defense. I don't know why he's so sloppy this season when it comes to defending..

That headline just made me think about this scene..
@Daniel Hawaii@Ozarkhick Psst...don't tell :D
2 years, 9 months ago on The Thunder survive a wild one against the Warriors, 119-116
@okcjim I agree. That lack of defense killed us against the Spurs. Almost every single 3-pointer was the result of a collapsing defense because almost everyone ran at Parker instead of trying to shut down the paint. Russell could've gone under the screen, cause Parker isn't a good 3pt shooter (at least in the NBA)...unfortunately, everytime Parker went around the screen the double team came and sometimes 1 player had to guard 3 opponents..
2 years, 9 months ago on Monday Bolts - 2.6.12
@Lambchop But JR Smith shouldn't really be a possibility. That guy doesn't fit the organisation at all....egoistic headcase who his stats more than a win. No, thank you.
@f5alcon Too bad. I didn't realize how big his impact was until the games without him.
Any news on Thabo?
@Crow Defensively or Offensively?
2 years, 9 months ago on Too Much Tony: The Spurs kill the Thunder from deep, 107-96
@Old Man Game@Crow@Remify Agree. He at least would've altered the shots a lil bit...maybe he wouldn't have that streak till the 4th quarter when he nearly couldn't miss
