It's silly to get something when you can instead of letting him walk the next summer? OKC would have never matched a max offer sheet - and they shouldn't have.

And he would have never been either of those things in OKC. He wanted to be the star on his own team.

Just can't understand why - two years later - some people are still so butt hurt over trading someone who can't get his team out of the first round.

For one thing, home field advantage makes less of a difference in baseball than in basketball.

He'll be up and down the turnpike. I'm so glad they did away with the rule that you can only be called up three times per season (at least I think they did away with it).

Whatever lineups they run with, Brooks has to start managing minutes better. Having sat out all those late-season back-to-backs, Russ had plenty of gas in the tank for the playoffs. KD was a totally different story. They're young, but there's no need to make them old before their time.

So many good beers available - none of which can be found in a convenience store. And ice cold is only reserved for beers that you don't want to taste (45 to 55 degrees will get you in the range of most beers). Go to a liquor store that offers a variety of singles and experiment a little (Sean's on NW Expressway and Rockwell, Wild Turkey on MacArthur south of NW 122, Byron's is getting better). The Oklahoma breweries are putting out some really good beers.

Here's a few to try to see what you might like:

North Coast Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout

Prairie Artisan (Tulsa) Prairie Ale, Bomb!, Bible Belt, Prairie Hop

Coop (OKC) F-5 IPA, DNR

Mustang (OKC) Rocket Fuel IPA, Washita Wheat

Black Mesa (OKC) Red Badger

Boulevard Tank 7, Dark Stout Truth, Doublewide IPA

Widemer Bros Hopside Down India Pale Lager

Unibroue La Fin du Monde

Rochefort 10

Great Divide Yeti, Titan, or almost anything they make

Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast

Pilsner Urquell

Sam Adams Whitewater IPA

Ommergang Hennepin

Green Flash West Coast IPA

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Torpedo or Narwhal

Oh, I'm not saying he should be benched or anything of the sort. Only that the flurry of turnovers caused by his ill-advised passes made the game closer than it should have been.

I know last night wound up being a two-point win, but if Russ hadn't turned the ball over like four possessions in a row - and they all led to easy layups IIRC - it would have been an easy win.

How scary is a Westbrook, Jackson, Lamb, Durant and Ibaka crunch time lineup?

Also, I noticed KD rotated to cover Parker on several possessions, and it looked like his length really bothered Parker.
