Thunder in 5. Just don't think this series will be that hard for us. It plays to our strengthsand we have the 2 best players on the court. Plus, the matchups allow Brooks to play his normal rotation (Perkins) and not get serioulsly burned.

There's a good chance we trade out of 29 to pick up 2 Sixer picks...They have so many.
1 day, 20 hours ago on Thunder lock up No. 2, edging the Pistons 112-111
I'm not a oallege basketball fan...haven't watched 1 minute of Duke...what's wrong with Hood? 6'8" 3 pt shooter sounds OK to me...but nothing to reference.
Let's assume Orlando lands a top 3 pick. A little too high for Exum or Smart...better players on the board. They have the 10th pick as well but covet a point guard. Reggie Jackson for the 10th pick? Might have to throw in a sweetner from the Thunder side, maybe not if RJ has a great playoffs. 10th pick would net Rodney Hood, McDermott, harris...interesting.
I'm at work. The video for this article is blocked as 'potentially adult content'. I assume the video is of KD bending the Pistons over the bench in the 4th...
I want to recommend a book called "Ready Player One" by Ernest Cline. If you grew up in the '80s, playing the Atari 2600, Commodore 64, playing Zork, watching WarGames, Weird Science, Breakfast Club, or generally doing geeky things, you will love this book. It's a wet dream of a read if you are in my age group, about 35-50 years old. It's in development for a movie as well.
Highly recommend you grab it...very good.

ESPN getting the rights to the Heisman is the only reason it is still viable. The promote the crap out of it and try to make it a big deal. NFL MVP is behind NBA MVP as well...football awards like that don't go to the best player but the best QB usually...NBA goes to the best player.
3 days, 15 hours ago on Kevin Durant is, without question, the 2013-14 MVP
2nd to the Heisman? NBA MVP is much more prestigous. Heisman is not in the top 5 to me...
I still miss the old days of Brian Davis saying Kur-stitch and then 3 seconds later Grant Long saying Chris-tich for the entire broadcast.
3 days, 22 hours ago on Thunder embarrass themselves in New Orleans, 101-89
Brooks has long been our achilles heel...his lineups are inexcusable at times.
Brian Davis trying to pronounce Ajinica correctly and bragging about it on the broadcast was the highlight of the game...mabye next he will talk to Varejao, Nene, and Nenad Krstic...
I've grown to like the Hound.

Def Catelyn...she is so boring. She's worse in the books...totally douchey towards Jon Snow. I never cared for Sansa's character either...

I've read teh books and watched the show but haven't watched lst night's episode...still hate this comment.
Totally agree...Sorry Perk-Punt that's a totally dbag move. You knew what you were doing...very dbag...
I don't thnk Jrue is an All-Star in the West. He'll never make an All-NBA team.He is somewhere between 10-12 as a PG.Giving up the #6 pick in a bad draft and ~#10 pick in a good draft is a lot...

Dallas wants to off-load their pick this year. I assume the Thunder want it to roll over. Let's just say the Mavs miss the playoffs and get the 14th pick. Could OKC go to Dallas and say 'Hey we'll take the 14th pick'? If so, is that something Dallas and OKC, respectively, would do?
Hopefully he'll do more stuff where he makes fun of commercials and things...he did a bit about Andro Gel that was freaking hilarious...

Just saw the news...It will be interesting.
Among league leader in steals, disrupts offenses by slapping at the ball, plays the PnR well. He's a good defender. He flops a lot and gets cheap offensive fouls from the opposition. He's not the athlete Russ is but does well as a defender. I wouldn't say 'amazing' like some people.
1 week, 1 day ago on Thunder hang on against the Clippers, 107-101
CP3 is a great player. However, when I watch the Clippers, especially against the Thunder, give me Russ every time. For me, it's not a question. Paul plays about 1 quarter for each game. Half the 2nd and half of the 4th. He coasts for much of the game, leaving no imprint for being on the floor. I don't know if he can't do it physically anymore or just chooses not to, but it is noticable when watching him play. Bill Simmons commented on it during halftime last night.
Russ is balls to the wall, in your face, f*** it every night and every second he is on the floor. To use a Brooks phrase, he inspires his team and his fanbase every night he steps on the court. He competes for every loose ball, every possession...he challenges the other team to stop him. When I watch RW play, I stand up and say, 'That's a real ball player."
Is RW better than CP3? Most would say not. But, 7 game series, title on the line, pick your poison...I line up next to Russ and take my chances.
Obviously ask about Abrines and Pleiss. I'd like to know about Milicic, the PG who is supposedly available around teh Dallas pick for us. Supposed to be a wizard of a passer.
I'm warming up to the idea of a No-conference format for playoffs. First round matchups would include LAC vs Brooklyn, Indiana vs Memphis, Miami vs Chicago, and Portland vs Phoenix. Lots of fun there. OKC would have Charlotte then Portland-Phx winner before possibley facing winner of LAC-Hou.
Brian Davis should have mentioned last night on the broadcast that Jeremy Lamb went to Dallas to watch UConn play. That would have been cool. Can't believe he missed it.
Brian Davis should have mentioned last night on the broadcast that Caron Butler went to Dallas to watch UConn play. That would have been cool. Can't believe he missed it.
Brian Davis should have mentioned last night on the broadcast that Hasheem Thabeet went to Dallas to watch UConn play. That would have been cool. Can't believe he missed it.
1 week, 4 days ago on Suns outgun the Thunder again, 121-115
I've never understood why Lamb was not given any chance as the starter.
Robes looked OK. He has a chance to be a great defender. He's further behind offensively than Thabo was at this stage of Thabo's career, but Robes is a better redounder and looks to be a more pure athelete.

In all seriousness, the Sixers could be pretty good next year and the East is weak. Add in Noel, high draft pick X and a free agent (or another pick if they trade Young), and they could be an 8 seed. It might only take 35 wins to get in the playoffs. The main question is whether they actually try and win...
You may not be Safety Warden unless you attend the mandatory 20 minute training session that lasts 1.5 hours from the safety manager who believes safety is the most important duty in the building.

OMG...I was realllllyyy hoping Perkins injury would linger to the offseason.
The Lakers should not be on this list. They have missed the playoffs like 5 times in their history. While they are bad this year, typically they spend on the right guys. You have to spend to win. So far, no one has won a title without paying the lulxury tax except Detroit. Spending doesn't equal winning but not spending so far does not equal championships.

I have a feeling the Lakers trade their first round pick this year and 2016 for Love in teh offseason.
