Refreshing post, Bryce! We all encounter a difficult person or more in our lives and the tactics listed above are wonderful ways to tackle the situation. After all, interaction works both ways and it's important to understand the root of the behavior. I can personally vouche, the rewards are well worth it.
Amazing post, Shawn! Empowering employees, your untapped resource, can open a door of opportunities. You hit all the major points to help a team stay focused and have a purpose.
Just the post I needed today, as the grey cloud was lingering. Hitting the gym now and hoping to come back refreshed. Thanks for the extra boost, Elizabeth!
Excellent tips, especially for someone like myself. I appreciate concise writing, although it's not my forte. Thanks, Kenna.
Brilliant post! I especially loved, "Can't smile? Call in sick." Customer service is an opportunity for many companies/brands to take the initiative to make it infectious among their customers, as well as within their company. Thanks for the #custserv chat tip! I'll need to check it out this Tuesday.
Delish article, Margie! My tastebuds just took a stroll down memory lane - both elementary school cafeteria meals, in addition to the family Thanksgiving feast! Can't wait for the traditional meal - just around the corner.
What a fun and valid post, Bruce! I think it's also important for adults, not only parents, to be able to relate to kids. Not saying that a teacher needs to befriend their students on Facebook or Twitter but being able to relate to kids and talk their jargon can level up the playing field and initiate a two-way conversation.
What an excellent post! Preparation and an open mind is the key to more knowledge and experience.
I love the mention of rolling up your sleeves. It helps great leaders motivate team members as they work together. Leaders who do not mind getting their hands dirty, gain a level of respect words cannot.
Excellent post! I started my Twitter account long ago and did the old "set it and forget it". I didn't know where to start and was too intimidated to join in the conversation. Everyone seemed more affluent and it was difficult to express my words in 140 characters or less. As I grew my following, I began stumbling into Twitter chats and was incredibly surprised at how welcoming the experience was. Many of best relationships on Twitter generated from chats.
Love it! Dead on - quick, simple and true.
