I wish them the greatest amount of success... they need a custom department to link in advertising specialty watches for indy500, pikes peak, racing, skiing, US sporting federations, Olympics etc etc this would be fun to have a usa made watch for usa clients.
@MarkCarson @CG Double Rimshot!!! Ta-Dump! You sir, need to play the Pocono's!
forget all this humping ... I want a bj watch
Like the blue... homage to PN, does nothing for me. Let's leave the dead buried without a Rolex please. They'd have a problem winding it and seeing it in the dark.
...definitely orange, the last time I looked at one of these was 20 years ago and it was red
the original is much nicer style and layout... I'd have to see this watch in person to get the true value of $2K+. Don't see mainline Citizen dealers having this one in stock for viewing at that price and most highend dealers undeservedly look down on Citizen and don't carry the line.
nice choice! A Citroen steering wheel would be appropriate too!
Help! "I am the sword in the darkness" and I wear skunks on my back! I have perfect teeth and a watch designed by Fossil! LMAO!
It's the Norton for me! Even though I own a Bonne, I'D love to see them do Triumph, BSA etc all the greatBrit bikes... nice to see a watch company embrace the military so well.
Like the orange... but doesn't say "pilot" at all, automotive reference is more feasible to me. I would wesr it but like all B&R it!s way overpriced. I would think that this watch would have a nig "sport" appeal so the limited edition seems unnecessary, everybody does it.
Thx for that... always liked the drivers watches... great overview.
Way too big for me... i agree the face design and color contrast is quite irresistible. ..a wee bit smaller and I'd be in their market.
Thx for the list and coverage. If ceramic is becoming the industry fav I would think prices would come down significantly compared to the standard use of precious metals in the industry. The ceramic Omega is my pick... no nevermind I can't decide! Ceramic use will increase creativity since it is such a versatile material. That Omega should have the surface of the Moon 3D laser etched on the face, it is ceramic and would take a relief etching superbly. An link out there that collects examples of all the exhibitors products?
Certainly good competition and consideration for the Milgauss buyer.A plain simply handsome masculine watch.
It's tough sighting a nice watch these days, every under thirty I know doesn't wear a watch... they use their smart phone for time, calendar, appts etc etc. To get a watch on those wrists would be a feat... other than an exercise heart monitor with scads of lap and timing features. A watch that Syncs with your phone or pc no matter where you are would be a good start.
I like semi-conservative sporty watches with a dash of design and color: Chronoris, Seiko Sportura Honda Racing, Tissot MotoGp Ltd Ed, Edox WRC Rally Timer etc the FW3 is a huge departure for me... looks like it comes with a rescue beacon and winch cable gear!
Funny when designers strip an item of all character and creativity they jump on the Bauwow haus or Modernist. Sometimes an item becomes devoid of any characteristic worth commenting abou, like this watch. It stirs an affectation of sameness, like German and Soviet housing blocks, likea good Socialist party member would wear this soulless thing.
Varvatos does just about any commodity that he can tweak stupidly and then slap his name on it. His name on anything is for the cognoscenti of the pop culture morass name dropping crowd. His major claim to fame is doing the worst stereotypical ghetto pimp version of the new Chrysler 300... LMAO at the white guy designer getting ghetto cause it's fashionable.
My Mido is one of my favorites, just stylistically different to get noticed but pleasingly simple in design. Don't see them much in the USA.
