@psynister This affects all mana users. The difference is which classes have low base mana with healer buffs (Paladins, Druids, Shaman) and which have a standard high base mana (Priests, Mages, Warlocks).
Some tips for the cheapskates out there:
Gems? Green quality gems are dirt cheap to the point where you can get all you need off the AH with the gold earned from a handful of quests/dailies. Blue quality gems are maybe twice that and so very, very worth it.
Enchants? Don't buy expensive mats on the AH. Try to run dungeons with an enchanter. Spend Justice points on expensive/rare materials. Bank some gold to tip a friendly enchanter.
After you get there, LFR can provide good gear, but plain old Heroic Dungeons are still a steady source of enchanting mats and Valor/Justice for every poor player. Even a Normal/Heroic raider can save gold with these methods, especially if they receive little guild support.
@clra2 It would be even more interesting if any of the hits to this wet paper sack would get me out of it.
I love the account feature. The addition of locking in certain pieces and enhancements will be great for players trying to make the most of two similar specs or gear sets without being handed an optimization that assumes they will reforge/gem/enchant every time.
In my case I run at least two different gear sets for my Holy Paladin, but I would love Mr. Robot to help with optimization while keeping static a few common pieces.
