I can't find anything in the constitution that gives the feds power over food, therefor said power is reserved to the states, or to we the people. To be defended, if need be, with our Utah, not federally governed, firearms. It will be nice when more bureaucrats are forced to get real jobs...

Nothing in our Constitution mentions any abridgment of my GOD given right to grow, buy, sell, eat, or drink anything! I am becoming more thankful by the day that I live in Utah. Utah is also considering legalizing credit/debit cards denominated in gold and/or silver. They have already made gold and silver legal tender in the state, including for payment of taxes and other debts due the state government!

Same as when a cop or any public official does illegal stuff "under color of authority". Or someone in the military issuing illegal orders. Using one's perceived authority to do or to order bad stuff is a big no-no, and the courts have (sometimes) held that there is no obligation to comply with such. This seems like a good place to repeat Ben Franklin's definitions of Democracy and Liberty: "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote."
