To be fair, it's probably also the first Atari Poop you've ever read :P
About half-way through, while enjoying this article, I suddenly stopped to ask myself "Hey, where's the poop?" Then, the very next paragraph totally brought said poop.
Also, I'd show this article to my wife, but I'm afraid thast GIF will give her seizures.
Edit: If any of you saw the mess of typos in my first comment, blame my wife harassing me to hurry up. She's even doing it right now as I type this. But she is so amazing, nothing can compare to her amazigness :)
Edit #2: My wife totally added that last bit.
Edit blah: I, I mean, she added nothing cause she's amazazing :)
@slydogstudios Thanks a lot for the feedback. Characters=too literate. Got it. I'll try to make them a little more Everyman to make them more relatable for issue #2.@slydogstudios
@Paul Potvin FFFUUUUUUUUUUU... I totally meant to have a section on how the can is played with a special, sold-seperately, controller (http://moonbeam.free.fr/Forum/Atari2600_KidsController_07_BoxFront.jpg) and how that should teach future/current parents that having kids means you're gonna have to waste money on all kinds of useless crap simply because it's "for kids".
I can't believe I forgot to add it. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaammit! I blame my kids and how they haven't let me sleep more than 6 hours (6 hours interrupted repeatedly) in one night over the past three years. So pissed at myself right now.
@Bigjoe91 I think the only one in Québec was decommissioned last year, so you'll likely need to come to New Brunswick or Ontario...or you could just castrate yourself.
I think this is the first time I've voted for Bailey, or at least the first time in a long time.
Speaking of Bailey, your RPG complaint took the words right out of my mouth. The only bad thing about them is how few there were. It reminds me of my reaction to people calling a game a "Zelda and clone" and implying it's a bad thing. I much rather would've played Zelda II - 2 or Link to the Past 2, 3, 4, and 5 than all those Mega Man games I can barely tell apart.
@Bigjoe91 Typical Québecois, thinking the whole world revolves around you and your problems. Just because your mafia built bridges, tunnels, and buildings are collapsing, doesn't mean the rest of the world needs a video game to tell them having stuff built by the mafia is a bad idea. It's just common sense. Still you have a point, Mario's Cement Factory might be the best Mario game for Quebecers, but for the rest of us normal folks, it's still Mario Bros.
@MegaSilverX1 That's what I thought. I guess "Comments Pierre" should just follow "Articles Pierre's" lead, but most of the time, the stuff "Articles Pierre" writes is just too ridiculous for "Comments Pierre" to continue with.
I probably sound crazy now. I'm not two people...or I am?
@MegaSilverX1 You know that 2 player game in Mario 3 is actually just a port of this game, right, while Mario Clash is basically this game in headache-inducing "3D"?
@NintendoLegend Cringe is good, right?
@Paul Potvin I can't tell if this is some made up bullshit fact (you know, like you'll find in my articles), or that I really managed to pick two games in a row whose boxart was created by the same artist famous for 60s psychedelic posters.
Also, if there was a god, I'm fairly certain he/she/it would've struck you down for creating that Supercharger/iPod abomination. Thanks for proving there is no god.
@jasonlamb Hah, and I had it on my list as well, just in case I was eventually invited AND had the time. Just wait for the Erics to voice some approval for the game, then use the game and their words against them in your argument.
@ericmhunter Just the original. I was never a fan. It seemed dated as soon as it was released. Never had any games that interested me after I played them for 5 minutes. Subsequent Gameboys had some truly great games though.
Ugh...you guys are making it hard for me to pick. Bailey goes with a Genesis "game" I can't possibly vote for because it isn't even a game. Meanwhile, Hunter chooses a Gameboy game, which is 2nd only to the Magnavox Odyssey on the list of consoles whose games I will never vote for. Finally, Jason picks a tennis game. Need I say more?
Damn...well, Jason said RPG, so he gets my vote, but then he loses it for his ToeJam & Earl comment. Sadly, he then regains it because I remind myself of the awfulness of the other candidates. Also, Bailey is a hypocrite, since he once told me about a hockey game that also has an RPG campaign mode and said it was cool.
@NintendoLegend @Bigjoe91 There could be an event every 4 months. April, August, and December 8th!
You inform a guy with a full-time job and two kids about this RAGGD event only one month in advance?! Grrrr...curse you! I'm gonna do it though. It's a great idea. Now to narrow down my list of 1000 potential games to review for it.
@Bigjoe91 I'm really glad someone picked up on those references :D
@MisterB0 I know there's a Kiss pinball game, and there's an FPS for the Dreamcast, but thou raise a good point. Now that you've mentioned it, it seems like an Atari Kiss game would totally have been up their alley. I'm glad one was never made. I hate them more than Journey.
