Thank you so much! My kids love going and picking out movies and games at Redbox, and if I can get some free ones, that is even better. Personally, I love using the Blockbuster@Home service I have through Dish, because I can get newer releases about a month before it is available on Redbox. The kids don’t mind watching older movies, and they can keep watching the same movies repeatedly. Tonight after I finish work at Dish, I will definitely head over to Redbox and try out some of these codes.
There are so many great ways to watch the Olympics on you iPad or iPhone. I have been using my Dish Remote Access app. I heard about this app through a co-worker at Dish. With this app and the Sling Adapter hooked up to my receiver, I can watch live TV with a Wi-Fi or 3G connection. I have been watching the Olympics since they started and I absolutely love that I can take them on the go with me.
I think it is pretty funny for CBS to come out with a press release like that. It might have been a little wrong but it was very funny. I could see why they were upset about it; the show is very similar to Big Brother. Since I love Big Brother, a co-worker at Dish told me to check out this show. It was automatically recorded using PrimeTime Anytime on the Hopper, so I was able to watch it this morning while I was getting ready for work. I enabled the AutoHop feature and was able to skip right over the ads, which saved me 20 minutes this morning to do other things. The show was good, but I could wait for Big Brother to come back.
I think it was an awesome idea for Dish to buy Blockbuster. I know I love the service they provide with the Blockbuster@Home service. A co-worker at Dish told me to try out the service because I was always complaining about Netflix not having new releases right away. With this service I get my new releases 28 days before Netflix and I only have to worry about one bill for al my entertainment needs.
That is cool that Amazon is adding more devices that their service is on. I prefer a service that I can stream on my iPad, so I can take with me when I travel. When a co-worker at Dish told me about the Blockbuster@Home service, I thought I would try it out. I love the service, I get new releases mailed to me earlier than some services, and the streaming is awesome because I can use it on my iPad, which is not available yet through Amazon. The kids love watching Blockbuster@Home when we are on the road.
All the networks make it look like Dish is completely wiping out the commercials, which is not true. With Auto Hop they are simply giving their customers the option to enable the feature to skip the commercials. You can still view the commercials if you want to because they are still there. When my boss told me about this feature that compliments PrimeTime Anytime, I was super excited about it. I am sure I am not the only one that fast forwards through the commercials and being able to do it with one touch of the remote is amazing. I think the networks just can’t grasp the fact that technology is changing and they will have to find a different way to promote ads if needed.
They all did an amazing job. I think the judges give them all around the same scores so that it is left to the audience to decide who wins it. If you look at past seasons, the scores are always so close in the finals that the audience chooses who will win. I wanted to make sure I saw the dances before the finale aired tonight, so this morning while I was making the kids lunches, I enabled Auto Hop on my PrimeTime Anytime recording and was able to watch the whole show commercial free, which cut out 20 minutes. . I had time to check out the dances and get to work at Dish on time. I think all of them deserve the Mirror Ball.
I love that Dish has made it easier for there customers to skip commercials. I really don’t mind watching my shows on Primetime the day after in order to use this feature. I am usually watching them the next day anyways. I learned about this feature when I went into work at Dish the other day and I was so excited to check it out myself. When I got home, it was so nice to enable the feature right before each show and not have to touch the remote again. I give kudos to Dish for giving the customers what they want.
I love Modern Family so I usually will try and watch it on my Hopper receiver so I can check it out in HD. If I miss an episode I will go to DISH Online to check it out. ON there I can watch several shows for free including Modern Family. It is great when I am traveling because I can watch it on my laptop. A co-worker at DISH told me about this site the last time I went on a trip and I absolutely love it!
