Was in the arena when this happened and I think in this one instance I completely lost my voice for the next few days!
Perk is still a really good defender, hate it or love it.
Im a huge KD fan but he gave up on a few plays that Russ or someone else was attmepting to get him the ball but he couldnt get postion to recieve the ball. which results in: - shot clock ticking down waiting - a forced shot once the they realize KD wont get open - stalled possession and an Iso situation His turnovers are also mounting as well
@Head Coach Scott Brooks @[censored] @MJOKC Fisher gambled and lost with his decision to double Splitter leaving his man wide open for 3
@[censored] Man I like Fisher but you are absolutely right! i thought Brooks caught on to that idea with a couple games fisher not seeing too many minutes. but games Like Nuggets and Spurs where you have Fisher guarding Splitter and Green or attempting to keep up with Ty Lawson are just not the games he should be playing. Brewer in both those games would have at least been able to force the other team into bad shots. Brooks just needs to be quicker with the rotation when he sees its not going right.
Id say it has increased every season especially at the PG position. IMO
yeah people forget that OKC was willing to go into the tax, the issue is how far into the tax they are willing to go and we saw with what they offered harden that there is a limit.
Took it.. knew enough to graduate and forgot it..immediately!
Add to that fact that Russ was assisting all night and people ripped KD for passing too much in Golden State game especially in crunch time. There have been plenty of games where RW and KD were having bad shooting nights then in 4th Qtr or OT came out hitting everything.
Seeing Dwight Howard and Rubio so high on the All-Star ballot makes me laugh
If the defense continues to plays like it did against the Nuggets I see a nice outcome for this road trip! Was a at the last game and the rotations seemed nearly perfect (at least before the bench had multiple bad possession late in the game)
When they are playing like that on defense it is hard to generate offense, hopfully that continues with the other elite teams they face.
@OUThunderfan @Gyella to the chest...
@lethalizer No way on Earth Harden wins MVP. As good as he is he has no chance.
excuse the typos...dang that looks ugly!
Ibakas shot blocking is completely underrated in this conversation. Casues fast breaks saves games and provents a lot of easy layups since our guards can play tighter defense without worrying about guys getting to the rim with Ibaka back there.
At the increased improvement in KD year after year there is no reason to think he wont be as great if not better then Kobe is at 34, not taking anything away from Kobe but players like LBJ and KD enough potential to possibly be better. Now many things could happen between now and then to stop it but there currently are no indicators to such.
@justin_mia He needs to get that floater back havent seen it as much lately....
