@Paul Pogba To Arsenal 2015 That sounds like something you need to take up with either a therapist or a dominatrix. Whichever you choose.

@propsizzle Just my 2 cents as a longtime lurker. I enjoy the primers. No there's not usually a ton of incite in them, they're pretty basic and "new fan" friendly, but I've found that they're usually my best source for pre-game injury reporting (I rarely use twitter).
Watching the Len ejection from last nights Heat Suns game and wondering how he didn't get the same when he balled up his fist and took a swing at Russ here.
1 month, 3 weeks ago on Tuesday Bolts – 3.3.15
@Cray Allred People were saying Russ had missed too many games to get MVP before the latest injury. He deserves to be in the conversation but there's no way he gets it...

@MartzMimic I've been saying that about the sleeved jerseys since they've debuted. Especially the Clippers baby powder blues.
1 month, 3 weeks ago on Thunder unveil new sleeved alternate uniform
The sleeved jersey experiment is all in preparation for when they inevitably try and push corporate sponsorships onto the jerseys.
Sleeves make for prime advertising space.
I'm going out of town for the weekend and can't make tomorrow's game. Anyone want a free pair of loud city seats? I just want to make sure they get used and don't go to waste.

That same sentence could be applied to anyone with at least one arm and probably at least a few people with no arms.

@King of Carrot Flowers the third
I would still think he was a bad player and marginal defender getting by on bad attitude.
I would still think he looked and acted like a crack addict.
I would still start bets about when he gets arrested and for what.
No... I absolutely wouldn't like him. But I would cheer for him while he was here and cheer even louder when he was no longer in OKC and no longer our problem.
I put a sign up on my desk today: "I was going to wear my Thunder jersey but I can't afford to get hurt and miss time right now".

Gasol started his NBA career in Memphis, by comparison OKC is a cultural mecca unless you consider Graceland the epitome of culture.
Westbrook also came to OKC from LA and he's still managed to thrive in the fashion culture.
If Pau chooses NY or LA over OKC it's about dollar signs not diversity.
9 months, 3 weeks ago on Pau Gasol concerned about OKC’s cultural diversity?
They finished 9th in the West in the 3 years prior to that. So their big acquisitions of Harden, Lin, and Asik amounted to them finishing 9th, one spot better in the West, and Dwight Howard helped them finish 4th and flame out in the playoffs in spectacular fasion.
11 months, 1 week ago on Thunder vs. Spurs: Game 2 Pregame Primer
Gasol to the Lakers and Chris Paul to the Clippers as well.
Harden trade hasn't gotten them out of the first round yet.
The best thing the Harden trade has done for Houston so far is lure the Dwightmare to the Rockettes and that still has a chance of backfiring. They essentially crippled themselves signing Lin and Asik on poison pill contracts and then brought in two players who made them redundant.
I could see him breaking a hip trying to be serge.
11 months, 1 week ago on Five thoughts about the Thunder without Serge Ibaka
If that last game against Indiana was any indication then a Pacers series isn't necessarily any less daunting a task than a Heat series. Especially without Ibaka since Indiana is a much more physical team on the interior than Miami.
As long as the Sterlings own the team and the league is dealing with that mess Doc could spike a baby to the ground and do the icky shuffle and he wouldn't be fired.

GAH!!!! No... Bad Royce!!!
You tricked me into reading a Bill Simmons article saying he's "coming around".
He's come around but he's brought the same garbage schtick he always has. Fawning drooling love for Durant and a myopic view of anything else Thunder.

I thought the replay views were controlled from New York. Or is that the NFL? Or am I completely off base?
Favorite comment I've seen today:
"How can you trust anything Rivers says. He's not even a real doctor."
"Everyone in the arena knew it was our ball that's why they booed".
No Doc. People were pissed about the non call. The replay in the arena was pretty inconclusive. You can tell they thought it was inconclusive BECAUSE they showed it in the arena. The home team doesn't show replays that work against them.
Jordan and Griffin got away with half a dozen badly missed moving screens throughout the night. I didn't see the one that got him tossed but I don't feel bad if it wasn't egregious.
Neither the Nets or Bobcats would have made the playoffs in the West. It's hard to be impressed by anything in either of those series.
Best being subjective their numbers without context might be close but judging by memorable performances or interesting matchups Lebron is laying a goose egg.
11 months, 2 weeks ago on The Forecast for May 12 – May 18: Chill and don’t panic
ESPN has a poll up about who is having the better playoffs KD or Lebron. Of course this happens to come up right after James stat padding 49 point turn.
This reminds me of how they flared the lbj hype machine after his 63 point game against Charlotte in the regular season. Like they're just dying for him to do something great against some inferior opponent so they have a reason to talk about him for a moment.
Windhorst's game recap in the daily dime made me physically uncomfortable. All the superlatives heaped on James by Windhorst just made the whole article one big literary blowjob.
I know anytime I hear his voice the channel gets changed IMMEDIATELY.
Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.
11 months, 3 weeks ago on The Side Part: Week 28 – The Speech
I keep seeing it mentioned that there was booing in the arena Monday night. Being there in the heart of it all I never for a second thought the boos were being directed at the team but at the officials.
The officiating in that game deserved to be booed.
With Paul hitting everything he put up the Clippers did not need the officials help but they definitely got it.
11 months, 3 weeks ago on Kevin Durant’s MVP speech was his MVP moment
Steven Adams against Jordan/Griffin would be an intruiging matchup in this series if I had any faith Brooks would give him any go.
Adams being so unshakeable and the Clipper bigs beings so often volatile.

Already dreading the amount of times I'll have to see those terrible Cliff Paul and Griffin force commercials. They're much better actors on the court than off for some reason.
Ugh, this made me think of those commercials they're running for that Lebron James app.... I just threw up in my mouth a little...

After todays headline I feel really bad for the guy in the arena Saturday night trying to sell people subscriptions of the Oklahoman for a "free" hat.
Subliminal message: There will be a game in OKC on Saturday night...
That would be the first time anyone has enjoyed a vacation in Memphis, the Detroit of the South.

I'd rather go with the player who isn't going to pout on both ends of the floor if his shot isn't falling.
The only way to have experience is to get experience. Reggie doesn't have so much that he should be allowed the amount of leeway he's being given.
If Reggie is still struggling then Lamb needs to take his minutes. Especially since Jackson's minutes seem to come only when another point, either Russ or Fish, is on the floor anyhow.
Reggie seems too easily shaken at times.
"You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mud hole... it's an operating table.... and I'm the surgeon"
Take the extra time to go to San Antonio... safer, cleaner, fans aren't tremendous D-bags unlike Memphis and Houston
1 year ago on Top 10 plays of 2013-14
Tennessee> Violent crimes per 100,000: 643.6> Poverty rate: 17.9%> Pct. of population with bachelor’s degree or higher: 24.3%> Property crimes per 100,000: 3,371.4 (10th highest)
Tennessee has the dubious distinction of having the worst violent crime rate in the country. The state was among the top 10 in the country for murders and robberies and was first for aggravated assaults, with an estimated 479.6 for every 100,000 residents. Tennessee’s 41,550 violent crimes in 2012 were up 6.8% from 2011 but down 10% from 2007, when there were 46,380 violent crimes. There were 388 murders in the state in 2012, up for a second straight year. To be fair, Tennessee’s violent streak is concentrated in some of the major metropolitan areas. Memphis’s violent crime rate was the nation’s fifth worst, while Nashville’s was the 18th worst. Like many states with high violent crime, poverty in Tennessee is acute, and high school and college graduation rates are lower than most of the country.
Unlike Harden he's been upfront about that fact...
ESPN polls.... 82% say they have a problem with flopping... seperate part of the same poll 80% say they have no problem with "the way Blake Griffin plays"... that's counterintuitive...

1 year ago on Harden: Money was the deciding factor in leaving OKC
Is it time for an intervention? Because you're obviously on something.
Houston isn't getting to the Finals this year and they aren't getting any better in the coming years. Howard's not getting any younger and his back isn't going to get any better. He'll only decline. Lin and Asik have Peaked. Harden's game could improve but he's not shown that he has the work ethic to go to another level. Unless they have significant roster change they are absolutely not surpassing us.
Harden sold out a potential dynasty for perpetual mediocrity... period.
If it helps Indiana edge out Miami for homecourt I'd be oddly okay with that. Can we just start our second unit that game?
1 year ago on Thunder hang on against the Clippers, 107-101
If you're going truly no conference I'd like to think Minny would have been more motivated in the second half of the season and edged out Charlotte for the last playoff spot... the Bobcats in the postseason just seems so weird and offputting.
