Nope, just his.  Smith made the rules and his lifestyle was the reason.  I gave you the link - read it for yourself.

More on Joseph Smith:

"Did Joseph Smith have a pattern of marrying teenage servants and family friends living in his home?

"Second, her [Fanny Alger] marriage to him [Joseph] in Kirtland, Ohio, established a pattern that was repeated in Nauvoo, Illinois: Smith secretly marries a teenage servant or family friend living in his home, and his first wife Emma forces the young women from the premises when she discovers the relationship." (Todd Compton, In Sacred Lonliness, p. 25)"

@sscannell05  @Festerhawg No lol.  The reason was that Joseph Smith was a whoremonger and needed to legitimize his sexual deviancy.  So God 'spoke' to him and told him that the only way to get to heaven was through multiple marriages.

"As early as the publication of the Book of Mormon in 1830, LDS doctrine maintained that polygamy was allowable so long as it was commanded by God."

"Thus, the LDS Church today teaches that plural marriage can only be practiced when specifically authorized by God. According to this view, the 1890 Manifesto and/or 1904 Manifesto rescinded God's prior authorization given to Joseph Smith."

Something to seriously think about. . .

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require hip surgery.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an  appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray,  which isn't reviewed for another week and finally has his surgery  scheduled for 6 months from then pending a review boards' decision on  his age and remaining 'value to society.'

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever taken to a vet.

The SECOND is a Senior  Citizen on Obamacare...

In November, if there is no change in government, we'll just have to find a good vet.

I agree, Steven, and that makes the period between Nov 7 and Jan 20 an extremely dangerous time.

You didn't even mention the fact that we have a usurper in the Oval Office? Unbelievable!

I agree, Michael, and wonder how much longer the powers that be will allow America's sheriffs to retain their constitutional powers. After all, the Constitution no longer applies. . .
