A lot of these young men don't use common sense anymore. It's all about living for the moment I suppose.
When you have the kind of talent this kid has, you have to be extra careful how you conduct yourself. He wasn't a given to go high in the 1st round because of his height. A 5'9 body will still work against you in the land of giants, (the NFL) so the most important thing for him to do was to stay focused and have another great season so his stock would stay high.
Looks like that won't be happening now.....what a shame.

It's hard for me to like an LSU player to begin with, but arrogant and cocky behavior like his bragging of how good a player he is and how he's a "different breed", etc,...etc..., just pisses me off.
Anyone that has one once of integrity or humblness in their character doesn't have to take part in this kind of childish behavior.
I garantee you will never hear Tyler Wilson talk smack or brag about himself as a player on twitter.

I love kittens. I use them for target practice when they grow up.
If only they knew. I get a big laugh when I hear people associated with the Big 12 blabbering about how they think Mizzou's QB will light up the SEC...freakin hilarious!
I've even seen where some have picked them to finish as high as 5th overall in the conference. Hmmmmm,...let's see now,...Arkansas, LSU, Bama, AU in the West. Georgia, SC, Florida in the West,.....nope, I just don't see it.

Haven't our helmets been red since the 50s?
1 year ago on Are these the New Razorback Uniforms for 2012?
Makes me sick to my stomach. The first thing I saw when I looked at the picture was a white helmet and red pants.
Could live with the red pants, but it reminds me of Indiana. (puke) The white helmets are an absolute no no. The red Razorback helmet is tradition. It's who we are. DON'T MESS WITH THE HELMET!!!
Damn! Nice tits! Who wouldn't go for that?

"What an IDIOT" is the very first thing I said when I watched this guy. Then I immediately became suspicious. How in the hell did they just happen to find a this guy? He was probably an actor. Nobody really acts that way...do they?

This wouldn't even be an issue if that ding dong had enough sense to at least wait until Coach Petrino was out of the hospital. At least at that point, everyone gets a laugh out of it, even Coach Petrino.

Excellent post Sharp "Tusk". Every point you make is valid.
I think it's pretty evident someone is trying to play dirty here, but I wonder about the Texas coaching staff as well.
I saw reports on other boards where Texas coachinf staff members were expected to make a late push at DGB while he was in San Antonio.
If any of those guys noticed this "bump" with CBP, I would expect nothing less from Texas than to report this as well.
This report came out yesterday I believe, the same day Mack Brown made an in-home visit with DGB and his family and the day before CBP & staff were expected to do an in-home as well.....imagine that.

Lousy officiating. Because the officials missed the fact Krouse never called for a fair catch, Wade is ejected. Wonderful. SEC officiating at it's best.
Krouse was dumb for even trying to field the punt in the first place. If you can't see it, why not just get away from it?
If you drop it, the other team has a good chance of recovering. Possibly a scoop-n-score.
The entire play was a sham and Wade got screwed from all the idiocy, just because someone unfortunately got hurt.

Miss. State's offense was somewhat exposed against LSU's vaunted D on Thursday night.
LSU's D is very fast and very physical. They're dominant up front if you don't have the horses to run with them. MSU didn't.
MSU's O-line was banged up, they couldn't block well for their RB and Relf was used more as a pocket passer than a roll out QB. (his strength)
When he did roll out, the fast and furious LSU D-line was quikly on his heals, allowing him very little time to get into a rythem.
As far as the Miss. State D goes, they're good, but not great. The offense never gave them any rest and the rest is history..

I have to disagree just a little. I'm not so sure Bama gets the nod over LSU at this point.
Bama has a great RB in Trent Richardson, and a very good backup with Eddie Lacy, but the Tide passing game is very suspect right now. Both QBs threw 2 INTs a piece against an inferior defense.
We know how great the Bama D is, but if you look at the game LSU played against Oregon, allowing 27 points against an elite offense on a neutral feild looked pretty darn good to me.
Also, LSU has a good passing game with big, physical WRS, and they handled the Oregon D with their #2 QB.
They had good balance between the run game and passing game. Their offense is a lot farther ahead of Bama's at this point.
Also, not sure where I would put Florida at this point, but their front 7 on D looked as good as anyone in the SEC Florida Atlantic. They had 4 consecutive "3 & outs" to start the game. Muschamp is big on D and their QB (Brantley) looks much improved this time around.
Florida looks dangerous to me. Don't be suprised when they win the East this season.
I'm hearing a high ankle sprang. Hope that' true, but you never know.
