don't underestimate UK in the Randle race. They are very much in it. I still think UNC is in the "lead" but what does that really mean when the guy hasn't committed? nothing. this is still wide open.
I don't like PJ at the 4 either. Bullock will get a few spot mins from time to time inside due to the lack of depth
Paige is absolutely the favorite to be the starting PG. I think u are underestimating Paiges game and basketball IQ by your statements. He may make more freshman mistakes early, but his skills on the break and in the half court as a distributor and scorer set him apart from Strickland.
I agree 110%, the Tokoto comparison is a good one. JP is a little better athlete whereas Troy is a better rebounder and has a lot of length.

I think your right about that but I never really trust anything in the recruiting world until a commitment is made. Teenagers are so unpredictable.
only shooting when he's wide open? the kid is a very good shooter with terrific form
he never got an offer from Roy, came close but he never did. I am of the opinion he would have committed to Carolina. Roy would never say why he didn't like him. He's often said sometimes nothing may be wrong w/the kid but he didn't get the feeling he wanted him.
The John Wall situation went like this. UNC looked at him, he's from NC and grew up a TH fan. Roy called him during the final four and apparently met with him at some point. UNC decided to pass after the meeting and Roy stated that Wall was not a Carolina guy. Rumors had it that Roy did not like how Wall always had his "posse" with him.
