@Geekette221B That's why I post them from time to time, because some things just have to be seen to be believed.

@Aabaakawad Classic attempt to appear smarter than he is. Actually, I think the man who contacted me IS the site owner. Someone looked the name up on FB and lo and behold...
@cc97 No offense taken...but...I don't have on any foundation. Just powder. So I guess I should say...thanks?

@uninterracial @Christelyn @kia That's exactly what I mean.

@kia Okay, I totally co-sign on reciprocal support. This man HAS done supportive things, from what I can see. He helped Issa Rae with her series, "Awkward Black Girl." I see him representing black women of all shapes, ages and colors in his videos. So I'm just wondering how much this man has to do and prove in order for him not to be seen as an enemy to black women.
@uninterracial @kia Again, it goes to holding innocent people guilty of the collective...I just don't think it's productive. It's a waste of valuable energy. Focus should be on living a quality life, meeting quality mates, and optimizing opportunities for career and finances, and while maintaing good health. These are all things we CAN control, and WILL MOST LIKELY lead to a rich and fulfilling life. Again, I'm just wondering what you, @kia expect Pharrel to do. His body of work speaks to him being pretty positive and supportive of black women. I guess I'm just not into being so absolute...it's like people who come to this blog and judge one blog post they don't like and then tell the world I really hate black women and want them all to die slow. Is that fair?
@kia I get that Kia, but can you say that Pharrel has NOT been consistent?
Okay just took a peek at the 24 hour video...ain't nobody got time for dat! lol...but the little bit I saw was cute. Pharrel is seriously a cutie too. Shortness and all. He just looks like someone who likes to have fun...like a bit nerdy kid lol

@rena215 @JCassiW No sillies, it's not cancelled! lol
It is, however, delayed. The producers wanted to add some additional content, and with multiple cameras, multiple people and multiple sound, editing is quite the job.

@Vivaforever @Christelyn Thanks, Viva. Like I said, this is an important conversation to have, because I'm really curious about how the ladies on the board feel about it. Good points all around. :-)

@eleganceofblackwomen I know it's hard for black women to trust. I really do. But you have to judge people as individuals, not a collective. This man, Pharrel, has a body of work that seems...positive. Like, can't we just be OK with that? Do we have to constantly be mad at everyone and everything and expecting that there's an enemy at every corner and crevice? I'm unsure about how positive and uplifting such as stance has on black women in the long run. This is a good conversation to have though, and I'm enjoying it.
