In terms of the feminism argument, I'll say this. No one here is suggesting that the tenants of feminism--that men and women are equal--different but equal be sidelined. Much of the backlash against modern feminism is how some of it's members celebrate women speaking and acting in a vulger manner under the umbrella of these behaviors being "empowering." The arm of feminism that disdains chivalry and secretly desires men to be subjugated to women. That's the arm of feminism that I believe most men are running from. If men wanted to date women who acted like men, there's a label for that.

"I find a lot of what she is saying laughable. I could go into a list of
things, but I would be writing a novel. What is up with the thousands
of books written about what women can do to change to attract a certain
guy, but there are like 2 books for men on what they could do to change?"
On the contrary, there are TONS of books, guides, blogs and magazines DEDICATED to teaching men how to get girls. My friend Jordan Harbinger is the co-founder of The Art of Charm, a business based solely on how to coach men on relationships, and their clients pay upwards of $6,000 to go through the courses. So yes, people do and want coaching, and it's hardly just the women.
Thanks for your honesty, Conor. I feel that many of us need to hear this from the men. You didn't say it in a hurtful way, just stated the facts.

@Jamila @Christelyn Those are the types of black women white women are the most comfortable with.

Seem...SEEM? Gurl...they ARE huge. That was definitely done deliberately. Here's the photo so everyone can see what Savannah is talking about.

I especially HATE how they teach that mess in church. UGH.
That's because African and Caribbean women possess similar qualities Asian women do. That is a fact. They are sweet, feminine, express their interest for non-black men, and don't carry all the baggage American black women oftentimes do.
Love you, Wanxi!

Yes I do. I read the book from back to front and the information in there is solid advice for attracting just about any man. :-)
@SWP Disciple "SWP" like Sergeant Willy Pete Disciple? In any case, you're right about one thing: boys growing up without their fathers present for firm (not abusive) instruction is what breeds DBR's. Please don't deflect the problem to "the matriarchs." If black men want power and want to lead and be the head of the households then they should behave as such, and stop getting their jump-offs knocked up. A true LEADER doesn't blame the women. A leader takes responsibility. If you want the BC to be a true patriarchy, then you're in the wrong place. Talk to your brothers.

@Conor Flannery @ColinFlaherty AHAHAHA...you Irish guys...
Oh and by the way, one of the commenters on our Facebook page said this, so if anyone else wants to come in here and tell me I'm a racist, self-hating elistist, they might want to look into this:
"Having said that, I am going to go off topic for a bit to address a statement you made within the article, "Little boy-men in the black community often use guns to settle the minoriest of tiffs"
As of this comment, there are 72 people "listening" to this post. Shame is a powerful tool in some instances. I have no doubt that some of these readers are offended by this post, because it airs the dirty laundry we like to hide. Maybe this will kick some folks in the behind so they'll start to stand up for the black girls who have to endure this abuse.
@ColinFlaherty DBR=Damaged Beyond Repair.
@Maverick_thebadgirl OMG, really? You must not have grown up in the age of the drive by shootings. To point out that SOME boys in the black community are hyper-violent (we know there are a variety of reasons for this but that's besides the point are we talking about helpless girls being harassed and often ATTACKED by the black males you want to coddle to your teet) is to be an ostrich. I LOVE how people come in here to DEFEND "the precious" no matter what. You say with two lines how *nice* it was what Joel did, and spend the majority of your response suggesting that I'm a racist, self-hater and an elitist. THIS is a key problem. No one is allowed to say ANYTHING without a flurry of disclaimers so as to make the message so diluted and bland nothing gets through.
Look, I get it. You feel the need to protect black men, and you're willing to let that need supercede the needs of black girls. You're offended so you're putting the torch up. Well in these here parts, BLACK WOMEN COME FIRST. Their health, safety, well-being and happiness COME FIRST.
@Law Wanxi Law you win the internet for that epic post.
