Your spot on, I rather have a player who's getting 5 mills and can produce in the playoffs then have one who is paid 7.8 and stink up the ice for the last two years in the playoffs. ( hint, his initials are RN.)

@Pantheon @ObviouslyWeHadAGoodRun  Brassard have been in the league 8 years, how many years do you think it takes a player to reach his potential?

@bmurphy6832 I'll reserve judgment until we're well into the season. Games played on the ice, not on paper.

@Josh-CK I agree with you for the most part but you are wrong in your assessment of  Boyle vs. Strahlman. Boyle is a 39 year old man who struggled last year and he was just a shell of his former self, while Strahlman  was getting better as the season went by and IMO he will get even better as time goes on. They should have signed Strahlman and stayed away from Boyle and the coming season will prove me right.

We already have at least two guys with superior skating ability  namely Haglin and Kreider. Why not utilize them on the power play.

@SmellyKisio  IMO. Girardi should not wear an A. I keep thinking of him standing by while Carcillo was beating the crap out of Gaborik. I can never forgive him for that. Strip the letter off him and give it to St Louis with McDonaugh as the C.

The guy Is my hero! I just wish every player had the same attitude when it comes to loyalty toward their clubs. I predict that Zucc will be the fans favored in the Garden next year. He will be mine for sure.

@Bring back Langdon  Fat fingers, I can relate to that. LOL. Look, I hope I'm wrong but to me, the guy just haven't showed enough in the playoffs to warrant the 7.8 million a year he is paid. For that kind of money the guy should play like a beast and he has not. Also, for the guy 6'4shuld be playing much more physical then he does, he should at least play like Pouliot played in the playoffs make his presence felt along the boards and in the corners. I realize that he had a concussion and he is gun shy but there are other players who had the same injury and managed to overcome it, like Staal, Crosby to name a couple.

Let's hope that he'll manage to put up better numbers in future playoffs but if he doesn't then I'm afraid we'll have another Gomes on our hands.

@Bring back Langdon @scrangersfan @ObviouslyWeHadAGoodRun You are incorrect, Nash had 26 goals last year not 36 and we all know how bad he stunk in the playoffs. IMO. the guy is just not mentally though and I'll be surprised if he'll change in the future, but I hope I'm wrong.

@MikeBlue @genetics73 @Josh-CK @JMK836  Why not trade Mark Staal for Skinner? that would be a great trade for the Rangers, getting a goal scorer for a Shut down D-man. Everybody would be happy.

@Bring back Langdon @IcyCup  All I can say is that Zucc better not bend down in the shower in front of Sather because he will definitely get the shaft up the a-s. I wouldn't trust Sather as far as I can through his fat ass. Zuccarello have been more then fair in his negotiations with the Rangers and it is time he gets what he deserves.

@betweentheworlds If Brassard gets 5.5 mills then Zuccarello should sign next year for around 6.00 mills long term. Brassard did come into his own last year but he never be is good as Zucc. and time will prove me right.

Hey Kevin, don't you ever sleep? I noticed that you posted this article @1:43 this morning.

By the way, Miller can easily replace Pouliot, all he have to do is  commit a few stupid penalties at crucial times in the game. Seriously, given the chance to play regularly, I'm confident that Miller will equal ore even surpass Plouliot's output for the upcoming season.

You're correct, last year was a lot of fun since not many of us Rangers fans thought they go as far as they did. It was awesome to watch our team competing into June. Makes the off season shorter.

You too have a great summer.

@BobDunne @scrangersfan @AnnoyingJoe @betweentheworlds @DP_Snotty @Say my Name @TomDundie For the record, I have been a fan of this team since  1964 which included season tickets for a number of years. During that time they had won one Stanley cup ('94) You have to forgive me if my patients have ran out. I'm tired of all the mental anguish this team have cost me and I must vent my frustration with them. You apparently have  stronger resolve then I do but you don't have to beat on me for making a negative comment about them. Being a faithful fan for 50 years had afforded me that privilege. We all have a rite to express our opinions without having to worry about abusive comments from fellow Ranger fans. As for me, I'm willing to forget about these unpleasant exchanges so the rest is up to you.

( Forgive me if I miss spelled any words but English is my second language.)
