@KevinTheNYRBlog @Josh-CK  As I recall, Zucc. was also on your bubble at the beginning of the season Kevin and look how he turned out. LOL.

Obviously AV. disagrees with you Kevin, frankly he had not  shown any reason to be staying with the team in the regular season and I do agree with AV's assessment of him.

I would not have any problem taking the A from Girardi because IMO. the guy who refuses to go to he's teammates aid when needed have no business being an assistant captain but I would not give it to St Louis. The guy will be gone after next year and it is obvious that he does not feel comfortable to be a Ranger. Just look at his expression, he looks like a deeer in the headlight. My choice would be Stephan or Brassard for the A on the jersey.

Montreal's house of horror is house of horror for Lundqvist only. You will see that Talbot will change that on Saturday

I'd like to find out how much do the fans think Zuccarello is going to ask to sign for next season. I think he should be looking in the 4+ miils. range. What do you guys think?

I don't think Boyle will or should take a cut in pay for next year. After all he is the catalyst who make the 4th line play as well as they are and that IMO.deserves a raise not a cut in pay. I'm sure that there are teams out there who are chomping at the bit to sign him to a decent contract. Hope he'll get what he is looking for.

@Billfrom Brookhaven @Bring back Langdon Well, if he plays like he's played since joining the Rangers then maybe he should consider hanging up he's skates after this season.

@rjonyr87 @scrangersfan @mando24179  Actually if I was to predict as to who will win the cup this year, my money would be on Boston. They got toughness, skill and a really good goalie.

@MikeBlue  I wonder how is Tortarella' team doing. That's the team that was coached by AV. into the playoffs a few years. If you think AV is bad, where do you think the Rangers would be with Torts?

I'll tell you where, out of playoff position, so lay off of AV. He is doing just fine with the personnel he's got.

@Wallace1 @Dekking89  Mc Grattan was really easy on Mc Ilrath, he was just toying with him. If he really wanted to he could have destroyed Mc llrath. I also think he is not that good.

@JoeyKocur We don't need Neil! Read Mc Grattan's comment about Neil in one of yesterday's blogs and it is pretty well sums it up. Most of he's fights are near the end of the game and it leaves guys like Mc Grattan to fight for him in the next game.

Watching the video of Mc Ilrath's fight it looks like he's got no power in his punches, everyone is all hopped up about this guy's ability to fight but I disagree. IM0. he is not a dominating heavy weight. The best we've got but it is not enough. ( now go ahead and beet me up guys for stating my opinion.)

Funny, at the beginning of the season a lot of fans criticized Zucc as too small and said he is no St Louis. Maybe so, but now I say that St Louis is no Zuccarello and it is a good thing because IMO. Zucc is the most valuable player on the team along with Hank. The gut have talent, grit and work ethic like no one else.

@ATCRyan Here is idea, Ovechkin has about worn out he's welcome in Washington. How about trading Nash, Richards and St Louis even up for him. It would free up a lot of cap space and we would get the best sniper in hockey. I know it can not happen but if I was the GM, I would actually try it. It would allow us to get rid of a couple of over the hill guys and one cream puff.

Did anyone saw Girardi standing by with both hands on his stick  watching Zuccarello getting roughed up by a 6'3 guy and doing nothing about it. This guy is an OK. hockey player but he's got no spine at all. I don't care how good he is,

they need to get this guy the f--ck off of this  team. He is a disgrace, no balls at all.

@BringBackBeukeboom  We all know that hockey players are in a class by themselves. They're humble individuals who put the team ahead of everything else including themselves. That's why I love the sport of hockey more then any other.

@JoeyKocur  I would rather see him as a so so act and a goal scorer than a class act and a spectator on ice. We got him to score goals like Cally does for Tampa. Just saying.

@rjonyr87  After watching Richards and Nash closely this year, I came to the conclusion that Nash should the one bought out at seasons end. Richards at least playing with some grit and passion where Nash is just sleep walking through most games. The kind of money he makes ( 8 million + ) he shod be a difference maker like Crosby, Ovechkin Malkin. He's playing with no passion and shying away from the front of the net. IMO. Columbus got the better of that trade. Very disappointed in Nash.

@Lordstanleybroadway  My choice would be Chris Stewart formerly of St Louis.

Guy can play and I never saw him lose I fight. Having a guy like that will make the opposition think twice before they take liberties with our skilled players.

@ivanricov @scrangersfan  Any so called leader who criticize his players in public is not a leader. I was in management for 40 years before retirement and my motto was " praise in public and criticize privately". Served me will over the years with the respect I had received. One thing we do agree on, we're both entitled to our opinions. Make that two, we're both Rangers fans.
