@GregB1919 @IcyCup I'm glad you said it's your opinion because you're dead wrong! Maloney is awesome and should be on with Sam.They would make a great team.

Kevin, you're saying that the Rangers got a steel by low balling Moore. Doesn't it bother you that in the process they also give the kid a royal screwing? How can they justify signing Glass for two years 1.15 mills and forcing the guy who's been a loyal soldier for the Organization  to sign for almost 500,000 less. It sure bothers a hell out of me. But maybe I'm just a stickler for fairness.

@ObviouslyItsANewSeason @scrangersfan @queensbee I'm not sure I agree. McD looks to me  a kind of laid back type of person and if it's true, the last thing I want the team is to be a laid back personality. Hockey is a sport of high emotion and IMO. being laid back would be detrimental.

I maybe the only one, but I firmly believe that the Rangers made a mistake of signing Boyle instead of Stralman. Stralman is younger and have room to improve where Boyle is an old and declining has been and the upcoming season will prove Me correct. I don't know why Sather have a passion to sign over the hill players instead keeping proven young talent who is already on the roster. The 22.5 million was a starting point for Stralman and with honest negotiation, the two sides could have arrived to an acceptable figure. Now they have a guy who is making 5.5 mils. and his best years are behind him. NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

@wherewasi Sidney Crosby had more serious concussions then Nash and he is still the best player in hockey. IMO. It's the heart that drives an athlete to success and I believe that Nash lacks in his heart what it takes to excel not the concussions. Having said that, I'm more then willing to do what it takes to get the guy going and get him back to what he once was. I will refrain from any negative comment about Nash this year but if he fail, I want him out of New York. We've had enough bums in the last few years to last a lifetime already.  LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny you should mention Petr Nedved Kevin. I remember when Nedved tried out in 2008. IMO he had the best camp among all the Rangers forwards and still did not make the team. I was upset at the time even today, I think the Rangers made a mistake not signing him. He still had a couple of good years left in him and he would have been an asset on the team struggling to score goals. But it is all water over the dam and we have a lot tolook forward tothis year. It should be an exciting season full of optimism.

@ObviouslyItsANewSeason  You are absolutely correct. The cost of living in New York City is out of this world. I ran a cost of living comparison between cities to find out if I could afford to move back to the NY area and the website  I used based it on $50,000 grand a year. If I lived in Charleston SC, ON 50 grand where I now live, I would need to earn 116.450 dollars in New York just to live comparably. Obviously having been retired, I'm staying in South Carolina and follow  my beloved Rangers and Giants on Direct TV's sport packages. But I will be visiting the North East as often as I can.

I wouldn't' get too excited, after all the guy have yet to play even an exhibition game in the NHL. We could wind up with another Gilroy who was a Hoby Baker winner, not a runner up. I'll wait with my comment until at least the  end of the season.

I wish I could agree with you because I love the Rangers and I've been rooting for them for 50 years but I'm a realist.
