@JoeyKocur  Just for the record Joey, Hagelin and Kreider will fly with  the Habs like no-one else can.

@fs2020  I honestly believe that if Prust and Glass will square off, Prust will have his head handed to him by Glass. And do hope that it will happen early in the game.

While I vehemently disagree with you on Duclair being the most dynamic player on the Rangers this season, IMO. he did not embarrass himself on the ice but he was ions away from dynamic. I do agree with him being in the lineup against Montreal if only because he is native of that city. It just show you the class of AV to understand and be thoughtful enough to put the kid in the lineup knowing how important to Duclair to play against his former idols. Besides, Malone did not exactly set a world on fire while playing.

IMO. The acquisition of AV was the very best by the Rangers since Mike Keenan in '93. The guy is a solid tactician and a true gentleman to boot.

@BleedingBlue @scrangersfan I'll reserve my judgement on Kostka after he plays the next game. Until then, I feel he deserve the chance to redeem himself. If he plays lousy then I will agree with you.

@BleedingBlue @scrangersfan I guess you're correct, I' v been watching hockey for only 50 years so what the F--k do I know. For the record, I was not talking about fill in. I was stating that if you think Girardi as so bad then  Staal should be and should have been on the first line all along not Girardi. Then again I guess I have no right to my opinion, so please except my apologies.

@BleedingBlue  If he is so bad as you say, then why is he on the first line? why isn't Staal on the first line? or maybe you think he is bad also?

@genetics73 @LennoxHillMarketing @Cally11 Though I'm not a huge fan of Girardi, I would take him over Boyle in a heart beet. I would like to see Girardi be more physical but the fact is not all good players are Physical. Case in point, Brian leatch. He was not known for his physicality but IMO. he was the best D man in Rangers history. Harry Howell is another one comes to mind.

@KevinTheNYRBlog @KevinMccarthy Why doesn't he work on his skating during the off season with that Underwood lady? It would be to his benefit to put in the time to improve his skating ability. If you can't skate, you can not play in the NHL.

@Say my Name @gravey94 @RangersAndRadio  For what it's worth, IMO if Nash was producing in the playoffs like he is now, the outcome would have been the Rangers in 5 instead LA. So I don't think we are that far away, just a little tweaking here and there and we're there.

@SmellyKisio  Forget about Duclair, after 10 games he'll be back at Juniors where he belongs. He need more seasoning before he is ready for the majors. Team have plenty of forwards, no need to rush him. Maybe next year or the year after.

St Louis and Kreaider should be switched. That would keep the chemistry between Nash and STL. and would add size to the Beassard line.

Instead Glass, my choice to come out of the lineup would be Duclair. I think as I have all along that the kid need's more seasoning and maturing before he is ready to compete against man. I do think though that in time the guy is going to be a very good NHL player but in the short term, he would be better off playing back in the juniors.

@IcyCup  I was as critical of him as anyone last year but now, it looks like the guy is a proud athlete who realized that he did not performed to expectations and did something about during the off season and now  his hard work is paying dividends I respect  the guy for that and wish  him nothing but the best.

@ATCRyan Unfortunately,NY Rangers hockey usually is to make the apposing goalie look like a vezina candidate. At least the last couple years anyway. We need a couple of real snipers  who can put the puck in the net like Nash is so far this year.

@Craptin McDonqvist Have no fear, my son was a yankees fan fan until he was ten, then I took him to a Mets game and from then he became a Met's fan. So hang in there, there is hope on the horizon.

@Craptin McDonqvist I hope that you and your son will have  a great time. No better way to bond with your son then at a Rangers game. I should know, I used to take my son when he was 5 years old and now he's also a great fan. That was 36 years ago. Now he takes me to ECHL hockey games in Charleston and we still have  blast. @Zombieoni  That's easy to answer, Sather love's to sign over the hill has been players (Boyle) over younger and still improving players like Straalman. I just hope that he is not going to make the same mistake by letting Staal get away and sign someone who had seen his better days with more money then Staal is asking for.

1 week, 2 days ago on Conversation @ http://nyrangersblog.com/

@ktc990  IMO. staal deserve to earn more than Girardi who in the kast two years have not played to expectation. I hope Sather will realize that in order to keep Staal, he need to sign him to a bigger contract then Girardi. I'm rooting for staal to get what he is asking.
