@TempBoy Brandon @propsizzle @thelaughingwiseman @_justin @L0rv Ibaka has been way too inconsistent this season to be considered the best 3rd option in the league. Draymon Green, Love/Irving, Parker/Duncan/Leonard, just to name a few, are all better 3rd options.

I'm just saying you don't give an ineffective and inefficient player more minutes to spite another player.

Which is an absolutely horrible and immature way to run a team.
The problem with serge is not 3 point shooting. That's about the only part of his game that's a positive right now.
Every roster move made for the past 3 years has been a blow against those two.
He's had individual games or short stretches where he looks good, but on the whole he's been a lot worse.

Despite Royce somehow trying to act like fans were ridiculous for saying it, Ibaka has taken a huge step back this year. He's gotten worse at everything but three point shooting.
You think you're better than me?

@UnfortunatelyOptimistic Not one bit
How about you evaluate my fist?
What's his weakness? He's the best shooter in the league, maybe ever, he's a solid defender, he's a better distributor than Russ, and he's a really good rebounder for a PG. He's the perfect combination of a traditional PG and a combo scoring guard.
You make me sick.
I mean I think we could win the series, but no way would we close it out in 5 games.
I wouldn't say much better, but Curry is the perfect point guard.
Right because we don't rely on jump shots or anything.
I said it on reddit and unsurprisingly didn't get a great reception, but if it's 8 weeks that's around 25 games. If we were to go 18-7 and Portland went 10-15, that would put us a game ahead in the loss column. It isn't far fetched at all that we catch them if we can just stay healthy.
I feel really bad getting this excited about injuries.
It was a great interview.
This basically tells me Brooks knows what to do, but he isn't able to reel in his stars.
Don't bring that bad karma on us
Can we just hire Gentry and Ron Adams as a package deal? Preferably mid-season.

I posted about it earlier and said it makes me view Brooks in a bit of a different light. It at least gives me some understanding into his thought processes that apply to his weaknesses as a coach.
Which is why I say you can't allow him to force the team's hand. But I do genuinely wonder if giving him a starting job would motivate him to the point that it would make a difference on the defensive end.
I agree to an extent, and I've wondered if simply starting him would fix all of these issues with his game, but I just don't think you can allow a guy like that to force a franchise's hand that way.
LMA in a cast.
It's an in depth interview with Brooks giving answers that aren't just regurgitated cliches. Are any other sites giving you that?
What did he say?
I never said there was.
It took me a long time to be convinced.
Bleacher Report isn't the same product it was a couple years ago.
And even at least gives you some explanation for the motivations behind the weaknesses. Rather than just yelling at my TV that he has no clue what's going on.
That Bleacher Report article makes you look at Brooks in a bit of a different light.
That's what pretty much every ex-player or coach has said.
All about the loss column.
And Mark Jackson has shown the ability to construct a successful offensive scheme?
That a sign of being elite. Winning on the road against playoff teams when your stars don't play great is hard.
We're playing well... I don't know if we beat GS, especially without home court. But we've quickly showed that we're still one of the elite teams in the league when healthy and motivated.
Exactly. Trade away Reggie and we've got exactly 3 rotational players that can create their own shot or create for others, and one of those guys is Waiters.
Not to mention GS is posting something like a 20 point MOV at home.
We still talk about the Thunder's historically great MOV and how they would've won the title if Westbrook hadn't gotten hurt; GS is blowing that away right now.
Yeah, but Thunder fans were saying the exact same thing about the Spurs last year.
I don't see what that has to do with understanding math. I think it has a lot more to do with not trusting your defense to stop KD and Russ.

He's definiy become wayyy more flexible with his rotations.
I don't really care about Lamb at this point, but I don't understand at all what they're doing with Reggie. KD and Russ combining for 65+ a night isn't sustainable, and Waiters clearly isn't the answer for consistent bench scoring.
He's small and not super athletic.
The Warriors are scary good. That roster is just ridiculous.
I don't see his game transitioning well to the NBA though.
I thought he was overrated prior to this season, but he's kinda proven his worth. As a whole though, I'd definitely call the Wall-Beal backcourt overrated.
