Such a wonderful post Kim. I specifically like 1,3,5, 9. I've spent a lot of time observing and thinking about creativity in an individual - And realized that inherently we are all born creative.. I can say this confidently as the best example is my little daughter and the kids of her age that I see. and they all display the qualities you articulate in this post.. .somewhere in the journey of life, that spark of creativity is subdued / dies .. I think what's important is to re-kindle that spark of creativity in our lives.. and it can make a TRANSFORMATIONAL difference.. and i think a dash of creativity in doing the most boring mundane things in life can make them real fun... also the people who are classified as "creative" are really those who keep that spirit alive well past childhood.. and they usually stand out... This is an excellent post.. I think what's important is to be realistically positive... And life is actually full of positives n negatives.. Looking back I think I learnt more about importance of positivity from the negatives

I still believe that bearing children is a choice made .. The point is that many people don't realize the full implications of the consequence of their choices.... Esp. what being a parent means - Looking back at my post in the context of being a parent, I can say that I have made choices in #1,#2,#3,#5,#7, #8,#9,#11 after I became a mom.. And to be honest, I don't know how they will pan out 30 years from now.. But here's what I do know - I am willing to take complete responsibility for these choices I've made - I believe that's the KEY!
sharongreenthal Sharon - The minute you make it a priority, your life changes.. Being associated with positive people in the real or virtual world can have a phenomenal impact on your every day.. I also have started consciously working on it.. Time is too precious to lose on negativity...

Great ideas Susan... I think its also important is to enjoy the process.. There's just so many advice suggestions tips tools advice that Sometimes I just tell myself ENOUGH! Just do what you feel and think is RIGHT and enjoy! And its worked for me.. I guess BE YOURSELF, EXPERIMENT, LEARN AND EVOLVE...
Good to hear that.. Most importantly there will always be something exquisite about the one's which were handed down through the generations - Not sure if its due to legacy or just emotional reasons.. But they will always have a special something to them

dbvickery Yes which is why my last point is Exit when your time is up - Some are voluntary exists and some are forced exits. Yes! True that self-service is a very accessible and easy alternative - especially with technology & more importantly social media - But the point is sometimes it becomes an issue of time - & Hence many people still go to brokers.. Interestingly I read an article which mentioned about how "Dating Brokers" are becoming extremely relevant and popular - People don't have time to find a date in real life ;)

Great post.. Corporate Innovation is becoming a business necessity. Having been part of Innovation Teams over the past several years the transition that I have seen is "Its cool to innovate" TO "Its good to innovate" TO "The way forward is to innovate" - That's a paradigm shift in customers, organizations and employees... Also, I believe technology, opportunity and access to a wealth of information gives scope for everyone to be an innovator..

And real pearls of wisdom ! And all so true, so relevant - irrespective of age, phase of life, culture, gender, location, etc.. - I truly believe this one is a classic and one which I guess all married couples should read periodically.. Sometimes we know all this, but tend to forget applying them in real life.. When you read such posts, you tend to pause and reflect on your own relationships..
I would like to add a few points (1) Communication of expectations - Sometimes we assume the other knows, but in reality it may be a huge assumption (2) Give each other space... & Love, Care and Share :)
