skooloflife Awesome. I am working on a blog myself. Launching in December. Lots of work to do for now, but it's been great to pour myself into something I really care about for once. Writing for fun is so much easier than writing for a client, even though it's still work.
Haha! That's so absolutely true. What's good is that those plans can even better than Plan A. :)
Great post Lisa - completely agree! There are so many times that I carefully planned, only for the outcome to be different. Accepting plan B, or plan C or no plan at all has been a good lesson for me. I've learned to work hard at what I do today, and worry less about where that leads tomorrow. This has only been magnified by all the economic uncertainty these days.
Thank you so much for this post. I have been unemployed twice in the past two years, and people talk to me like I'm sitting on my couch crying everyday - nothing could be farther from the truth. Yes, being unemployed is difficult at times because it creates uncertainty. But if you use your time wisely you can really have a productive unemployment period. Great tips for everyone. Thanks!
