I definitely agree that the credentials are deceiving. Yet it is with that last paragraph of his advice that I got the chills and became fearful for the women to whom this man has given his advice over the past 30 years.

Love this. Until recently I have been really opposed to allowance, because my kids weren't doing the things they were supposed to be doing on a daily basis. Now that they are getting more on track, allowance is the next step for us as long as it is done in a reasonable way. Love your idea!

I had a couple of friends who were clearly getting into the marriage business to be bride. It was all about the big day with no thought beyond.
As for the actual wedding, I just knew that something would go wrong at mine and was just nervous about what would happen. When the best man handed me the ring I dropped it. And I laughed because in my mind I knew that was what I was waiting for!
