I guess I'll just trust my lying eyes then. Roberson is a much better defender than Lamb.

I think we've seen enough Brooks to know by now he's going to have these complete game brainfarts at times. You've just got to take the L and move on to the next one.

@_justin You can't ask a guy to play once every 10 games and then give him 13 minutes against the best team in the league.

I'm not sure about playing Jones in a game like this when he isn't accustomed to regular minutes. Pretty tough to ask a guy to come cold.

This Grantland basketball show is decidedly crappier than I imagined it would be. ESPN just can't keep up with NBA TV/Turner in covering the NBA.

I actually think there's a distinct possibility Dallas just got worse. Wright is one of the best backup centers in the league. Nelson and Crowder are solid role players. Powell is useless and Rondo can't shoot.

@anonymous12345 I think it had merit. What was surprising to me is that Woj's articles have that much stroke. I pay attention to him just for Woj Bombs. His actual articles are usually average to poor. So its surprising that people change their behaviour in hopes of currying favor with him.

@Tonitrus @Old Man Game In your experience might that explain how little lift Mitch was getting in the game the other night? (Assuming that he was already beginning to feel them) I swear when he jumped you couldn't slide 2 pieces of paper under his feet.

Mitch's injury wouldn't have sounded nearly as troubling if they'd called it what most people have heard of.

@Mother Teresa I think everyone will have bad games but the fact that he's sort of entering the typical prime years of a NBA player's career the likelihood is higher that his basketball IQ has caught up to his athleticism.
