@meanstreetsofokc I'm just saying the opportunity is there still. It's not like Andre Roberson has that on lockdown or anything.
1 week ago on Down To Dunk: Trades, roles and feet
@IdrisAIdris I think that could be a possibility.
1 week, 3 days ago on With the new guys contributing, Thunder top the Hornets, 110-103
@d21 (That's wassup) It's better than 11 mid-range shots and zero at the rim.
@_justin I think Singler will see semi-regular minutes. Could play some at shooting guard, too, alongside KD.
@Mother Teresa The Thunder had two young players, both sixth men, that wanted more role and money than the Thunder could offer. They're pretty similar.
1 week, 4 days ago on Friday Bolts – 2.20.15
@_justin @Royce Young @Pancakes and Blouses @L0rv @OBoy (LaFamilia) Lol it doesn't have anything to do with that. It's about proper discretion and handling relationships as best you can.
@Pancakes and Blouses @_justin @L0rv @OBoy (LaFamilia)
I mentioned the dunk thing when it happened. And known about the other the entire time. But there was never a very good time to report it. It made sense now, I thought.
@meanstreetsofokc In town. Likely to play tomorrow.
@Jooseppi @Obama Adams And Durant is definitely hypocritical about it. I'm just saying, it pissed guys off. Mainly because of the prior stuff, but it was just one thing on top of a bunch of other.
@Jooseppi @Obama Adams KD admitted to SOMETIMES doing it.
@OBoy (LaFamilia) I kept telling you guys: Around the league, teams value him. His offseason contract may surprise you.
1 week, 5 days ago on Five quick thoughts on Deadline Day
@Chandler Bing(GIVE US PERK BACK FACTION)
Holy cow, I should've known better but there are actually fans that don't like this deal?
@Divine Mortal I did last summer. They're running on some serious power. But these massive floods just knock it out.
1 week, 5 days ago on Thunder closing in on Brook Lopez: What we know
Dammit. Shouldn't have tweeted this out. I killed DT.
@mattchant I can 100 percent guarantee you that didn't come from Presti.
1 week, 6 days ago on Reggie Jackson awkwardly addresses trade request report
@lockness11 What's that supposed to mean?
1 week, 6 days ago on Kevin Durant said a lot of interesting things today
@okcjim There are three days yet to go you know.

@OohWeeItsVelvetHoop I am not. A week (sort of ) off yay.
@d21 Yep. Simmons is the instructor.
3 weeks, 1 day ago on Durant lights the Nuggets as OKC keeps climbing, 124-114
@Silhou8 Good deal. Had a couple complaints on Twitter. Carry on.
3 weeks, 6 days ago on Westbrook lifts the Thunder in New Orleans, 102-91
Test test? This working for everyone?
@_justin @b1walker No question they've been searching. Reggie seemed like that guy, but it's not looking so likely. And Waiters feels like a shot in the dark at it. But then again, Martin hasn't exactly been great since he moved to Minnesota. He's 32 and hurt a lot.
4 weeks ago on Five thoughts on Nick Collison’s extension
@mattchant Not exactly. There's a lot more to the story actually. Some known, some not. In fact... something on that may be coming to a website near you in the future.
@Free Reggie!!..(fire presti) It wasn't a comparison as much as just perspective on what big men in the NBA make.
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#PissOffWaiters] @_justin I said he's one of. One of!
@mattchant I'll admit it: I was completely blindsided by the deal. Didn't expect that to happen at all.
And since then, I think I've become more informed and educated about the realities of what happened there.
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#PissOffWaiters] I realize it's just conjecture, but if Westbrook doesn't get hurt, I truly believe the Thunder are back in the Finals that year, and honestly, I think they win it.
And if that would've happened, perspectives on everything since would be a whole lot different. They won 59 a year later with Westbrook missing half the season. Last year's team might've been even better than the year before's. That's the thing: It's sucks these injuries happened because it hasn't allowed proper evaluation of the roster, or Scott Brooks. We're left with a whole lot up in the air.
Also: It's hard to maintain a top level roster when you've got players coming off rookie scale deals.
@Durants Shimmy No question. Fans that comment here, on Reddit, or wherever CARE about the team and pay attention to the finer details. No doubt about it. It makes my job harder because I can't slip stupidity by y'all. I'll get busted for it in a second. And I appreciate the checks and balances of that.
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#PissOffWaiters] OK fine: I honestly don't have one. But I can tell you this: Justin has always been a favorite of mine because even though he constantly rips me and disagrees with a large part of what I write, it's always at least backed with some intelligence, reason and evidence. And for the most part, it's not overly petty or personal. I like smart comments that are about the team and what's happening.
@Woodhouse Since my little jokey joke seems to have been misunderstood, I guess I should just say my bad, poor writing.
@mattchant See. This is what I mean. Instead of maintaining an accurate perspective on what's happened since Harden left, it's a sweeping generalization about PRESTI DESTROYING THE TEAM.
2012-13: Westbrook's meniscus
2013-14: Ibaka's calf
2014-15: Durant and Westbrook.
I absolutely think criticism is fair. And if you've paid close attention to what I've said, I think I've dished out a decent amount of it. My immediate reaction to the Harden trade the night it happened definitely wasn't massive approval.
I'm not sold on the Waiters trade yet. I just haven't taken to the internet to make that declaration. I'm not really afforded that luxury to say something like that and have people forget all about it if it turns out Waiters averages 35 points a game and wins Finals MVP. So I like to try and evaluate it as it happens, and reserve judgment for when I feel like I've seen enough to make one.
That obviously can come across as giving the front office the constant benefit of the doubt, but sometimes I need to see more than three weeks of a player.
@Daniel Hawaii I wasn't saying you were. It was more a joke about how it seems a lot of tweets, comments and emails I get are like that italicized part in some context. Always about "PRESTI DOESN'T WANT TO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP" stuff.
That's what I meant.
@Daniel Hawaii Then don't be one.
@mattchant @cemitten Yes, and remind me how things are going with Reggie Jackson again?
@_justin Actually I was just reading some of the stories that came out the day after. You'd be surprised.
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#PissOffWaiters] That's the thing: Would you rather have a title window of two years, or 10?
I don't deny that's it a big gamble by Presti. He's playing the long game and it's yet to pay off.
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#PissOffWaiters] The moves to get out of it might've included dismantling the roster next season.
@propsizzle Not "the difference." But I certainly think it will be an influential card to play when the Thunder make their pitch.
@Lost Ones Dear god you'd be the worst GM.
@d21 Sigh. The Harden trade is really unrelated here. They were in the tax with their offer. He didn't take it. A full max at the time would've guaranteed repeater status by 2016, at least in 2012 when nobody knew the TV boom was coming.
I was more referring to the summers of angst where the Thunder weren't spending and no one could figure out why.
I didn't write this in there, but are you willing to overpay Nick Collison if it means you keep Kevin Durant for five more years? Because that's a lot of the intent here, I think.
@mattchant They tried to go into the tax for Harden. He said no thanks.
@AlexR44 I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Was that you? Good job if so. Perk was pleased. Said he was going to re-sign for just $10 million a year because of it.
@Lost Ones Wait wait. Do you think Udonis Haslem is better than Nick Collison?
Also, like I explained above, Speights is a poor comparison.
@Air Bud Oh, now now. Not yet.
1 month ago on Thunder keep spiraling in Memphis, 85-74
@Chandler Bing. @Royce Young @d21 I'm just telling you why that perspective on Jackson has changed from October to now.
1 month ago on The Thunder bottom out in New York, 100-92
@Old Man Game It's hard to do that with high usage star players.
@d21 It wasn't a consideration at all until the Waiters trade happened. It's given the Thunder the freedom to feel Jackson is expendable.
@_justin That's the flaw of any superstar driven roster though! Look at the freaking Cavs. They were a disheveled mess when LeBron was out. He comes back, they stabilize, and now they're back to looking like a true title contender.
When you're built around great players, you're decidedly worse when they don't play. It's no big secret. The Thunder aren't the Hawks or the Spurs that can plug and play players. They're good because No. 35 is awesome. It's no big secret.
