I still depend on these jailbreaks for my iPad 2, but my phone is now Android. I seriously suggest you guys go demo an S3.

I think it will be a waste until there is a downgrade method for A5 devices in place.
@JTSev13 I, unlike everyone else, agree with you, but not the tone being used. It is unfortunate that the exploits will be wasted on 5.1. I currently have an ipad 2 running 5.1, and I don't want this exploit to be wasted. If one thing goes wrong with my jailbreak, I'll have to restore, and there is no way to go back on A5 right now. My iPhone 4 has 5.0.1, and is running fine for me.
The people who are complaining about having 5.1 stock on their devices, should have known the issue was there before they bought it especially if they had an older iPhone/iPad before that. They also have no right to complain about it. This is all free, and we complain and insult (both sides) when it's not even our call. The circumstances should have been; Here's a JB for 5.0 and 5.0.1, and if your upgrade or buy a device with 5.1, it's your own fault.
In case nobody read, this will take 7 exploits to do. Exploits don't grow on trees, and with jailbreakers putting apple on their toes, they are getting better at blocking these exploits. So when we say that something should be saved for the future, it's because we're thinking long-term. My iPad 2 works just fine as-is, and I'm not about to complain.
With all that being said, this is Pod2g's work, and if he feels that it is necessary to release a jailbreak this early, then I only hope that he can find more, and that there is a downgrade method for A5 in the works.

idk where this is from, but the U.S. Supreme Court already said that jailbreaking is perfectly legal. So overturning that wouldn't be easy.

umm ive been able to downgrade to 4.3.3 since day 1. i think this is only news for ipad2.
