It's exactly the same as past releases. 8am GMT = 3am EST...if you live on the West Coast or Mid-West adjust the time accordingly by 5hrs.

Also take note of the mention about Twitter and Facebook links as that's where and how they release their stuff. Good luck to us all gentlemen.

I'm really trying to ignore this shoe because I like every CW I see. I already picked up the black pair and trying to restrain from buying the Cedar and now these. This CW however feels very hikish whereas the others don't. Crazy how a CW can just change the whole perception or idea about the shoes intended function and use.

@RomeoRedJr @FutureTomorrow_ Not a prob broski. Everyone has two sizes in most nikes. Mine is a 10.5-11. I always get my Huaraches in a 11 but I've never owned Huarache Lights. These will be my first. If you want a definitive answer I would check the huarache forum at niketalk.com. Hope that helps.

@ScottCombs @inTheNameofQuen "to be a huge KD fan" - that's the contradiction in an otherwise good intentioned comment. They're not KD fans if they don't know who made his shoes and clearly would not have done their homework.

While I can't speak for @inTheNameofQuen let me re-clarify my point and position. I'm not saying the shoes needs to be devoid of any Nike branding. The question is does it need to be so gaudy or tastelessly huge in it's placement and application? That dear Watson is the question at hand.

@RomeoRedJr just a few things to keep in mind...

1. Almost every UK shop ships to NYC. I've ordered from over a dozen. Yes, footlocker.co.uk doesn't but they're not going to have these anyway.

2. Size? releases 98% of their shoes including collabs at 3:00am EST.

3. Size? does in store and online at the same time. At some Size? locations that may vary slightly. As long as I have ordered from them they have never done "in store first" limiting your chances of buying one of their collabs or other drops. I have at least 7 of their collabs and I live in New Jersey.

4. The UK is 5hrs ahead of the East Coast, hence why it's 3:00am for us on the East Coast but 8:00am in the UK

5. If you think you've struck out stay on the site and keep refreshing the page every 3-4 minutes. A lot of overseas and even UK transactions get cancelled due to a lack of funds or a bank declining the purchase due to suspected fraud so sizes get relisted back into availability almost immediately.

Good luck, stay positive and don't forget to set an alarm with the drop date. Don't get caught sleeping. Literally.

@kshaun12 @FutureTomorrow_ @txchres I think you might be right but I've also been noticing a decline on reseller prices. Not what they charge but what people seem willing to pay. The 95's look to me like a shoe they may try to get tops $65 profit from but as people forget about them because of newer releases the resellers are going to be forced to finally lower the price.

I hope you do get both in your collection and if you go for the J's first I think the price on the 95's will eventually drop but that all depends on available and how exclusive they are.

@kshaun12 @FutureTomorrow_ @txchres Personally I would go for the 95's. They're different and I like different in my kicks. Admittedly however, the 6's will match with more fits and if one is dead set on owning both I would go for the 6's first and circle back for the 95's later.

@kshaun12 @txchres This may not work for every listing or place but here's something I've noticed. The previous article that pointed to the eBay seller? He's in Union City, NJ. I live in New Jersey. What I've done with Huaraches and others is when I see lot's of listings from my state I call up my local HOH/FL, Champs Sports etc and sometimes they have the shoe.

So if there are more listings besides the one seller SN pointed to it's likely, not a guarantee or fool proof that some local stores are getting these or just got them.

If that's what he meant then I would have to agree the person is a hypebeast and it goes beyond people copping what they like. They're copping what is trendy or "hyped" and being a "beast" about it with ridiculous phrases like "I need these in my life". Nah Nizzy...you need an education in your life.

Their website can't handle a launch of more than 4-5 new "hyped" releases in one weekend so god forbid they should ever be in a position to not distribute and force customers to solely purchase from a Nike ecosystem. Maybe I misunderstood the question but there are other aspects of that which seem like it would be a foolish move for such a brand so large. Now some smaller brands are clearly having success in that regard but it's none of the major shoe companies.

I don't know why I would be worried if Nike bought Reebok but I just would be. Maybe because I'm not a Nike loyalist and collect Instapump Fury's and wear other Reebok's as well. At the end of the day they probably would end up helping the brand more than hurting it but that's yet to be seen and they would have to buy Reebok first to elaborate more on that thought.

@Foots230 I've thought about the subscription model for Nike and others and it's really simple. Some stores due it to a degree but I think more can be done. Way more.

Imagine if the subscription model had different tiers? Now also imagine that Nike had a way through closer monitoring of social media, accounts and sales data to view and reward who was actually buying the shoes because they loved the brand and who were str8 up resellers? Maybe a bit too big brotherish? Not sure but what is and isn't these days and definitely don't want to make this a convo or comment about privacy and rights.

Now further imagine if how your were tiered up in the subscription, how much money you had previously spent with Nike and other variables Nike released private links to say X amount of individuals ever hour or two? The links could be so unique that even if others got wind of it it would do them little good as they wouldn't be able to figure out the link structure in time and even if they did a. their name wouldn't match the list of who was supposed to buy during that hour b. the improved verification might come in the form of a "unique" email code so they would also fail at this level because the code would be randomly generated using a combined email, real name etc structure that it would almost be impossible to duplicate.

Bottom line is I agree with your comment and where your thought is headed. People moan about how BAIT releases their kicks but they kinda got it right. At least for many of their releases or re-releases. Can it be better? Sure. Definitely it can.

@Criplize "One last note that I'd like to see Nike start doing is offering better insoles, or at least not glue them in." - I couldn't agree more but have you ever owned any Kobe 8's or 9's? Your thoughts on the insoles? I've personally always thought Nike should offer insoles of that caliber as a standard in each shoe. Now whether they want to take that beyond for their signature shoes and specific lines(I think they should) is clearly their choice but having worked on client brands that sell insoles like ProFoot and looked at competitive sets for Dr. Scholls it's those same poor insoles that make these companies very lucrative businesses.

@theluke1000 @SneakerNews I would actually believe that. I've bought shoes in amounts where I depleted the stock of a particular size. Sometimes I had to return a few, all unworn of course and 2-3 weeks later I would see those sizes and sometimes only those sizes available again. Coincidence?

I do believe this is what happens with quarter size or half size restocks. It's not a newly produced batch, it's returns.

Not only rare shoes and it was long predicted this area would see remarkable growth in ecommerce and sales of merchandise. Exclusivity. So while many here will complain it's a guarantee 3/4 of them would not buy the shoe would Nike turn around tomorrow and mass produce it.

Let me correct you on something though. I'm 40. You sound like you're up there in age yourself. How exactly do you propose someone born in the last 9-18yrs have avoided the hype? They didn't have any control over when they were born my dude and kids will be kids.

It's often hard to believe that Nike is no.1 in certain areas of the sneaker business and culture but as far as having a fluid, seamless and non-irritating user experience on their site they receive failing grades every release.

It's always the same result. Very limited amounts of kicks for an extremely large audience and if one were to crunch the numbers in terms of the odds of getting specific kicks X the sites tendency to crash and become unusable I would say it's pointless.

Depending on what you do for a living and if you got the loot it almost makes sense to not waste your time and buy from a reliable reseller who won't ask you to break the bank to get a pair. Time is one of the most if not to some the most important, non-quantifiable asset we have and a large part of it is spent tracking down kicks, waiting in lines and camping out for a pair that many end up never being copped.

Now I just follow multiple saved searches on eBay and when I find the right price or one appears I buy. Most of these by the way are not Nike's and if you look on eBay and IG and can separate fakes from replicas easily there are still a good deal of decent sellers out there.

Because it was mentioned several times by West and others that one of the reasons why he left Nike was because of how limited they made the shoes? Because of what they did to several sneaker boutiques that wanted to carry the Yeezy's? So the point of him jumping ship was so that they would not be so limited.
