I believe that we have an instinctual need to be in a loving relationship with other human beings and anything that is perceived to threaten those relationships instills fear in us. All psychological fear is based on these perceptions many of which were made when we where very young. I do not think it is possible to teach children as I believe consciousnesses is and evolutionary process that we all must pass through we can make it easier for them but a simple thing like a colicky baby has an effect on the babies perception . ie I have a problem I am colicky and nobody is fixing it, nobody cares = fear.
If it is not a state of being we sure are not going to add anything to make nature better.

Love for Enemies
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[i] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
We always take this verse to mean others but it can be applied to ourselves as well, for example the desire to be perfect that is being motivated by fear instead of love, fear is definitely our enemie. Be perfect is a state of being. It is not something to be achieved but something to be realized. Love is their in all its perfection it is only covered over by our fears, all that is required for it to appear is to let go of our fear. Their is a new movie coming out and the promotional video has a great line in it "Danger is real fear is a choice" . We can chose fear but love is who we are and it is perfection. How do you achieve this state of being ? It boils down to one decision is life for me or against me, is God good or is he not. Once you decide your fantastic brain will remind you every time life does not line up with this belief and then all you have to do is breath and perfect love will appear like magic and their is no more magical way to live then that. Once you realize that you are not your fear it will go away and never reappear. Our Enemies are our greatest teachers.

My book recommendation is "Health by Purification" authors Peter Jentschura and Josef Lohkamper.
I have put a lot of effort into the mind and the spirit not so much the body. So this book help me understand a lot of things about the underlying cause of disease being primarily an over acidic diet and life style.
35 pounds later and counting the prof is in the pudding though pudding is not very good for you. Haha
Your book recommendation sounds great based on what I know about you, God is opening the door for you . Can not wait to see the transformation this will bring for you and experience even more of the love that God has put in you as you learn to let the love shine out even more.

Welcome people who are weak in faith, but don't get into an argument over differences of opinion. 2Some people believe that they can eat all kinds of food. Other people with weak faith believe that they can eat only vegetables. 3People who eat all foods should not despise people who eat only vegetables. In the same way, the vegetarians should not criticize people who eat all foods, because God has accepted those people. 4Who are you to criticize someone else's servant? The Lord will determine whether his servant has been successful. The servant will be successful because the Lord makes him successful.
22So whatever you believe about these things, keep it between yourself and God. The person who does what he knows is right shouldn't feel guilty. He is blessed. 23 But if a person has doubts and still eats, he is condemned because he didn't act in faith. Anything that is not done in faith is sin. ( sin literal definition is: to miss the mark).
So for me feel is another way of saying faith or no faith or you could say love and fear.
For me it has been interesting listening to all the different faith ideas . As you know I like to pull out information from my own faith tradition that lines up with what people are saying.
What do I know is true = with out faith it is impossible to please God, It is also impossible to be happy and at peace.

It does my heart good to hear you speak about the death of the ego and its fault finding , comparison making, death . Now you will get to see and experience the love that you are even more and that will transform your world and the world of those around you.
You know I once new a carpenter who at the end of his life only had 120 friends , he never had any kids , and he never wrote anything, he only died on a cross a criminals death but he new how to love and he changed the world.
You know how to love so let those around you see that love, be deliberate in not hindering the love !
The life you and August have chosen may not look like much according to this worlds stander but when was destroying the world something to be emulated.
I once read a book by an uneducated 15th century Spanish nun she taught me that it was impolite to make demands on God and that all that was really required was to listen. We become what we listen to . Faith comes by hearing. It took the Catholic church 400 years to figure out that she was a spiritual genius and declare her a Doctor of the faith one of only 30 and only 3 of them where women.
In Soul south Korea there is a church with a million members the founder when he was a young man was dying. At that time a 12 year old girl would show up at his door every so often and ask to share her faith. He kept saying no but she kept coming back till finally he figured to himself if I let here have her say she will stop bugging me. So he let her in she sat down red a passage from her bible and left he never saw her again. That night he asked God to show himself by healing him and God did. Who do you think is going to get the credit for that a million soul church .

Their is fact no favorite things. Their are in fact only favorite people, yourself , others ( family , friends, teachers etc.) and God . Things only have meaning as we associate them to people. That is good and bad. Good because it helps us remember or anticipate but if anything should happen to these things we will suffer their loss. Not a big deal when you are talking about a tea cup but losing your Job now that is another cup of tea.

"But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly."
The closet I agree is the best place. For me my closet is inside me when all is quiet and I get to experience the ebb and flow of the holy ghost communing with me. It is even more powerful experience for me in a church service. Their is an exponential growth in the presence of the holy spirit where 2 or 3 are gathered together in the secret place.
As for a physical place their is one corner of my church that seems to have the deepest well of living water under it . I like to go their when the spirit is moving on me to intercede in prayer for others, pulling up and poring out that living water of the spirit.

So you have the weaknesses part down pat .
All you need to do now is turn your attention to the lord with the intention of receiving affection and the presence of the Holy spirit with fall upon you in power and the love of the lord will heal your heart.

I love to be with people and just radiate love by being present to the holy ghost and to the people that I aim with, it is such a good feeling to intercede for others in this way. It lifts everyone level of joy up including mine
2 Corinthians 1: 18-22
18 But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas[c] and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.”20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Paul here is referring to the abiding presence of the holy spirit that is given to all Christians that are willing to say yes to his presence this presence which is a down payment a for taste of heaven. So if you want to know what it is like on the other side then learn how to say yes to the presence now .

@Carmelo @Lori @razwanawahid I agree with Carmelo. For me perfection lies in piece and piece that is not conditional on things or situations but on my acceptance of gods love for me in my present situation.
@Lori My less perfect theory is at least more plausible and helps explain why God is pursuing us to establish union with that which is separated so that perfection can be reestablished.
@Lori So then we arrive at the classic question how can a perfect God create an imperfect world full of pain and suffering ?
@Lori So in your opinion even though God separated part of himself he would still be as perfect as he was in the beginning. My position is that he would not be as perfect.
@Lori Well their is a lot of things I am saying . If in the beginning their was only God that would be perfection because their would be no options to chose from. If their is only God and he wants to creates something what does he have to work with he is the only thing their is so for God to create he has to separate some part of himself . Is he still perfect ?
What do you think of this part.
Why would God create anything at all in that anything he created would have to be less then perfect since it would be less then 100% God. The creation would still be 100% God but it would not represent 100% of all that GOD is only a part so not perfect not whole only a part. If I cut off one of my fingers and through it on the table it would be 100% a part of me but not 100% me I would no longer be perfect and my finger would not be perfect it would have to be reattached for perfection to be reestablished.
We christian believe that their is a continuous give and take between the creation and God a circle of love where Gods love and power flow into creation and with creations consent back to him. Like little babies we are just learning how to do this and as a result things are even less perfect then they could be as a whole but at least on the individual level we can do our part and enjoy the piece, and joy and love that is available to all that consent to union with God a return to source so to speak a return to the whole a return to perfection.
@Lori The classic argument that their is no right is self defeating in that the statement makes itself of no account or to put it another way the statement that their is no right is a statement of right itself.
In other words non sense.
Their is only one path to our existence deliberate or not their is still only one path that resulted in our life in that, their is no right or wrong their is only what is which is what I call right and what is can be known.
However we are in agreement that each person is unique and that the thoughts that they think have never been thought and will never be thought again in just the same way and yes it is a great privilege to express ones thoughts freely.
Love can not be defeated and we love you and know how great a love is in you.

All is well . I am glad that you missed me. It is not easy sometimes having a different view of the world then most and you wish that you could show them how bright and shiny it really is, but at last God has reserved that privilege for himself and we are left with pointing out what is wrong in the hope that they will go looking for what is right .
"Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
The last stage of enlightenment is the confrontation in love of another s pain.
What you are describing to me Lori would be what I consider as a standard relationship with God through the holy spirit. After having followed the dark path of the red pill and shedding all the noise of the blue pill world one can hear and see by the dark knowledge of the spirit for it is dark because it is hidden from the natural mind as if it where in darkness. Like the roots of a tree the spiritual mind finds its way in darkness to the living water that it seeks. ( Sorry if your mind wants to equate darkness with evil not the meaning hear).
One of my favorites is personal prophecy this is when you have a desire of the heart and god sends someone who knows nothing about you or your desire to give you a word of encouragement about the desire. Both parties are encouraged that they are hearing from God and both are bonded together in their unity in God.
