Hajra one of my basic beliefs is that rape is a power game indulged in by powerless people who fail to love themselves and care for anyone or anything. Gangs or even groups of friends often fueled by drugs and alcohol to remove inhibition, exert their power by destroying another human being. Many military people are bullies and brutes in uniform. Yes we need to protest but what we really need to protest is the powerlessness of people who then need violence and cruelty to make them feel like they matter. Sad though - they then feel worse and need to do it again. And sorry but many of our law makers use the power of their positions in a similar way - they rape the land, a group of people and no one censors them. we have no sense of personal responsibility and we are abused when we say no. Powerful blog that you were brave to write. Now stay safe.
Weird people are a part of life. I really know no "normal" people but people who behave inappropriately and spam others are RUDE and ignorant not weird. No poking here either
What is this you and Janette sharing the same story? Monsters in government always worry me more than the monsters under the bed. But yes I would share the story if I had someone to share it with.
I love the instagram but just challenged about building them, finding them and then editing them. Will keep learning though. Thanks for this
Personally, I sometimes get the wrong end of the message when I read a post and the engagement with the blogger helps both of us (and hopefully others) clear up the message. We all think slightly differently so we learn that our message means to different people. I love it when comments on my blog expand both of our thoughts. And I love it when my clients challenge me too. Danny - that patience on though is so powerful.
@Lori @Hajra When I hear many people talk about best friends they seem to be talking about someone with whom they share everything, When someone wants to be my best friend, what they want is for me to be there for them rather than sharing interests and conversations. Perhaps because I am an introvert who has never really had much time (always busy and active) for developing too many close relationships best friends were something I never learned to develop, I have friends. I have acquaintances but aside from my husband, no one I trust to share my soul with
Hajra, I am unsure if I have ever been a best friend or had a best friend with anyone but my husband, I have several people who I could call on in times of trouble or share my joy with but I think different personality enters into this. I have never in my whole life had more than 2 really good friends. But the best friend thing has never appealed. So I wonder what that says.
You make a couple of valid points. Not every business owner is an entrepreneur.
Lemons are a fruit. Some people use them in their cooking and others never use them for anything. Lemons are also part of most diet cleanses, so when life hands me free lemons, I go what can I do with this now? And yes sometimes I just sit and smell the wonderful citrus smell of the lemon. Marshal McLuhan who wrote a lot about the media and the message once said that the medium is the message but we need to promote the medium off the medium to get the message out there and that is what you are saying here too. Great reframe of a well known message Pam

It is amazing how we see the beauty of what people create with their blogs, not the pain or energy that goes into creating it. I had to read this twice to fully understand the power of the words here. I too love to hand write. I think it is healthier in many ways. So keep relearning and keep up the beautiful writing.
