@DaveinExile @j_scott_o But I read here that there is no argument from a legal standpoint...it does not apply to being a part of a team or organization. Dang.
@I4Bama @j_scott_o Prepare for the name calling and accusations of an arrest record. (Their use of caps lock validates their posts)
@j_scott_o @alamoaggie08 @torris187 Who said they weren't read their rights?Miranda Rights? Seriously? I asked about the facts regarding the arrests and confessions, not what someone thinks occurred. I do not know the facts either, but I do know as fact numerous confessions have been tossed due to errors, omissions and "procedural violations" resulting in costly litigation. Since you missed my point, please allow me to spell it. It is called CYA. And for what it's worth, I'm glad all 4 are gone, including Calloway. Have a good day.
@alamoaggie08 @Tusk @torris187 "how the heck do you think they even got a confession out of them?"
Hilarious, you are the reason I read this blog.
What is your knowledge of their confessions? How do you know they were legally obtained? How do you know there were no procedural violations? How do you if they were or were not admissible evidence? Thanks for letting us know.
This has gone on long enough. I'll gather up the pitchforks and torches and you round up the mob. Meet me at Ferguson Center in half an hour.
The stadium experience list is a real head scratcher. Sanford Stadium 29th, with Boise State 16th and Texas Tech 19th?
Great to hear it is official. After losing Fowler and Hart last season, RB depth has been a big concern. Looking forward to seeing AK in the rotation next season!
Apparently when James Franklin phoned Coach Saban, Saban asked "why is the Missouri QB phoning me?"
What a game from the Aggies, JMHO but A&M may be the best team right now. Congrats on a heck of a first year in the SEC. Shout out to Coach McKinney stepping up as OC, great job. He had the Sooners on their heels all night.
Coach Saban must be devastated by this.
To quote Jack Lambert, "I think we should put dresses on them".
Bring back Sewanee! (Still the best fight song ever)
John, that photo of Cowher is a classic! Thanks for the chuckle :)
BTW, I'm a little late but congrats to A&M on a heck of a game and a well deserved win. A special shout out to the Aggie fans I met in T-town, some really great people. I hope to see all of you next year in College Station, hopefully we can return the favor! Good luck the rest of the season & RTR.
The General had 6 undefeated seasons, 9 undefeated regular seasons, 4 national championships and 7 conference championships. Maybe the best defensive coach ever, 112 of his 173 wins were shutouts.
Probably sacrilege for a Tide fan to post this but I have to vote Neyland ahead of Spurrier.
Come on John, just rub some dirt on it and shake it off. You'll be fine...
Good point about the existing rivalries, the "Holy War" is one of my favorites. So many great games through the years and the '93 game sure raised it a notch for the Irish fans. Really looking forward to seeing more classics, especially with more at stake now.
MoKelly1, interested to know what you thought about Pinkel's fake punt attempt on 4th and 11 early in the 4t qtr. with the score just 24-20. It looked slow and doomed from the start, and seemed to really open the floodgate for UGA. Still scratching my head on that one, good luck this Saturday against the Sun Devils.
