Holy cow there are some great games this weekend, TGIF.  I also think LSU wins a close one, the Chief's D seals it late (how is it Chavis and Bud Foster have never become HCs?).  Can't wait to see Bortles and Shaw, should be a heck of a game.

@WillFry I remember attending the Alabama/FSU game at Jacksonville in '07 and beer was sold.  I saw three fights during the game and the overall environment/vibe at that game was the worst I've ever experienced.  I love a cold one as much as anyone but I'm afraid this would create way too many problems (JMHO).

Good picks but I have a feeling the UT/Gators game will be a lot closer than this (or maybe the feeling is a result of the burrito and chalupa I just had for lunch).  TGIF

Still surprised with TJ's end zone antics, everything I've ever read & heard is that he is a very quiet & reserved player who avoids publicity and attention.  Glad to hear he apologized but I hope he's still running bleachers for that stunt.  What a game!  I hope I never see Manziel (and Evans) again. What a performance from Winston!  He looked like a 5th year senior last night, has to be the best debut I've ever seen. Look out for the 'Noles.

I hope the Dawgs can pound the rock and keep Boyd and Company on the sideline.  Barnhart made a good point last night that reducing Clemson's number of possessions by just one or two could prove the difference (still hard to believe Clemson had 100 snaps against LSU!).  Can't wait for this one, sic 'em.

I have to respectfully disagree with your assertion that "the veracity of Humphrey’s tweets don’t really matter in the least."  History or reputation is no reason or justification for tweeting and spreading bold faced lies like these, which only perpetuates hatred and ugly stereotypes.  As a Tide fan who loved watching Marlon's father play, I wish MH the best of luck in his college career and a good learning experience.  Hopefully, not in Tuscaloosa.

I was really impressed with AJ. I've heard so many people question his ability but man did he respond. And kudos to Coach McElwain for a great game plan & the confidence he had in AJ to put the load on a sophomore's shoulders.

So many people stepped up, Norwood, Hanks and Bell when Maze went down, Gentry, Depriest and Harris on D, and how about Christion Jones fielding punts? He looked like a 5th year senior back there. RTR and congrats again Steve.
