@wmwebdes Hi there! It's not limited to 3 DMs, it's just that it only pulled in 3 DMs in the last 48 hours. It's unlimited in amount of messages, the only limit is on time back you can search and pull in. So, on free, you'll have a rolling 48 hours of data to view, flag, search, mark as leads, etc.

Thanks for your comment about the avatars, they get bigger when you select the message, but will definitely pass the feedback to the the dev team.

@vaclavdemling Yes! You can flag a message. For example, on our team I'm blue, Nikki is yellow, etc. Flagging can be used to assign, or just to flag for those who don't have team members. You can also see which team member replies to each message that comes through the inbox (their gravatar will appear when you select the message :)) Let us know if you have any questions @marketmehelp

@pactree Hi! Working on more videos soon! Data is basically how many message we pull in. For free we go back 24 hours, so if you check everyday you'll catch most, but if you miss a day you could miss certain messages. Also, the ability to search back through your inbox as well, similar to email, so if you remember a bit of a post you can go back and find it again, but the "data" is how far back you can go. Social profiles are Twitter, Facebook, linkedin accounts. Will be showing more about analytics when it is deployed to the beta :)

The paid plans start right now, as in, you'd get access to the data and archive immediately and analytics as soon as they launch, as well as additional social profiles. We haven't put those on the pricing breaks yet, but it's 5 for free as I mentioned, then 10 in the next level, 15 the one after that, 24, 48 through the price points.

Original users are being targeted with this deal, in fact, that's one of the main reasons we decided to do this beta promo, so our original paid users can lock in a really sweet discount :)

@SmithwoodDr Thanks for your comment. Perhaps I didn't do a good enough job of being clear about what the spirit of this post is about.

We have a very robust, active and engaged community. Our community has helped us push out functionality into MarketMeSuite that we couldn't have thought of ourselves, so we just wanted to see what people have to say about this. Will we wind up using a crowdsourced logo? Maybe, maybe. But if someone gives us something that we base something off of, we're very happy to say thanks by giving them a shout out and free access.

MarketMeSuite has always been about the community :)

And for the record, we designed our last logo ourselves. It's not the fanciest, but at a time when we were trying to break through, it was a marketing decision to have a logo that said exactly what we do. Now, as we've expanded beyond facebook and twitter, we are ready to try something different :)

Let me be clear. This is just an experiment. We have, to date, designed and coded every piece of MarketMeSuite. But we are looking for some fresh ideas, and if someone can come up with something, we're happy to take a look. If we use it, or it inspires us to use it, we're happy to give the person credit and free use of our paid service to say thanks. We are really lucky to have a very engaged and outspoken community. A community that has, through their voting and comments and emails and tweets helped us to decide what to build into MarketMeSuite.

So this is no different, just opening it up for a bit of community discussion :)

@matthewperosi Hi Matthew, branding will still be available in the air version. We are not decommissioning it when V4 comes out, but because of Twitter's rules about storing your key and secret, it can't work on a web version. Sometimes there's things we are able to do, but rules indicate we can't, this is one of those things. I think you'll find a lot of the features in v4 pretty groundbreaking though, and I really look forward to hearing your impressions once it's out :)

@ihsieh Hi! As long as you're the admin the fan pages will automatically populate in the Facebook section. A good test is to click on 'send to all' in the twitter section or "publish to" in the facebook section... if you see the fan pages in the list you know it's all authorized. @Lisa Gerber@Danny Brown It's all a learning process. When Brankica wrote that post 8 months ago, me and my very small team took it to heart. It's something we've learned -- we've grown a thicker skin. But MarketMeSuite has always been our baby, and we didn't feel we had been given a fair shake. There's a lot that went on there, and I won't bore you with it. Brankica did justice to us and re-reviewed, and we're incredibly grateful for it. We learned from that experience and have grown, and that's really all you can ever do - learn from past mistakes and get better :)

Thanks so much for the great write up Lisa! I'm here if anyone has any questions! Just to clarify. We offer signatures on both Facebook and Twitter. The facebook signature is in the form of a link for a backlink, the Twitter one is reserved more for hashtags, or ^TKF (initials)... although some people will put a website into every tweet - but 140 characters is a little short ;)

Really appreciate the feature on here!

I agree, they are still evolving, and I mentioned that above. I have a pretty decent understanding of it, but no one knows the future of it, not even Klout! It's going to be about adoption and integration. Without people seeing it in the apps they use, it won't have the relevance, in my opinion. But, I do think they are geting widespread integration and attention, so I think the future is bright for influence scores.

@ginidietrich I agree, it's not really crowdsourcing. It's called "There's an election coming up let's try to make sure the current admin looks cutting edge."

@ArthurAnswers "Another note: Influence measured through twitter can easily be gamed through getting bots to follow you and retweet you." -- this is a lot less common these days. Twitter laid the proverbial "smack down" on automation apps last year.

I agree, we do need to be smart about it, but I also believe part of that is not dismissing it entirely :)

@ginidietrich Gini you're right. In that situation it wouldn't be a fair comparison. In fact, overall influence is not always a great comparison. But, you compared to other top bloggers, that is a metric worth keeping an eye on.

@KenMueller Oh yes, agreed, but i guess it doesn't stop me from still looking at it. I don't weigh my decisions on any score, but the sum total of all metrics I can find usually gives me a good idea of whether someone is as big as they say they are ;)

Probably the best commentary on this sad situation I've seen. You have a gift with words, Gini. I only spoke to Trey twice, most recently in June when I interviewed him for my blog. I spoke with him for about 10 minutes and he seemed so happy, so positive. But as you said, he showed the online world only what he wanted them to see. It's shocking, it's sad, and my thoughts go out to his kids.

@KenMueller Klout and Peer Index are different companies so I am not suprised they don't agree. They have different algorithms and criteria. I'm not saying they're perfect - far from - but tell me you don't sneak a look at someone's alexa score every now and then? ;)

@Lisa Gerber And Klout says I'm influential about.... drum roll... Lightning, Colorado and Netflix. http://phto.me/5d464 I traced this back to one article I wrote about how lightning hit an Amazon server. But I don't recall ever mentioning colorado nor netflix... so as I said, they still need to work on their algorithms but I do appreciate that they are trying to crack it.

@Ameena Falchetto It's definitely a hard thing to do for a larger brand. In my comment above, I think American Express does it right by having a special twitter account just for engaging. @askamex is a lot less scary than trying to tweet the big juggernaut american express!

@JayDolan I disagree. I think that if a corporation works hard at connecting more directly, it gives them a distinctly human quality. For example, the other day I realized my credit APR wasn't comparable to that of mastercard. I tweeted @askamex and a person replied back, almost instantly, asking me to DM them with more details. Within a few hours the APR issue was resolved and I was one happy customer.

I totally agree with your statement: "When people realize they are talking to human beings not logos or avatars that is when a brand stops being a brand and becomes people." Well said!
