@kfish @Corky @BB.13 Ellsbury isn't worth Crawford money. Shit, Crawford wasn't worth Crawford money, but he hasn't had a chance to really prove himself in Boston. Ellsbury has, and Ellsbury hasn't been that good, save for last season.
@kfish @BB.13 So you free up about $40 million a year between Beckett and Crawford to sign someone that's probably gonna ask for $20 million a season. Will he get that amount? Doubtful. But one bad season, including the tail spin of September doesn't warrant dumping that much talent.
