Pretty slick! Did you create the entire thing in Screenflow? I didn't know it could do those pseudo-3D effects.
Nice. Does Fluid Embeds work without shortcodes? Just activate and it works? When I look at docs it says you CAN use shortcodes, which implies that they aren't necessary.
Nice! Looks like a Kia Optima.
Great job on the podcast, gang!
Toni Schneider is CEO of Automattic, not WordPress. One is an open source content management system, the other the company that runs WordPress.com (among other things).
Instead of multiple posts per day, consider scheduling the posts when you can. This helps you spread out the content without overwhelming your audience.
Or if you've really got a lot you've got to share, supplement your blogging with microblogging.
Another great video, John. Hey, if you want to see the 360-video I recorded with my Kogeto Dot, you can view it here: http://www.kogeto.com/dotspots/YYX9DK6WWDG1
Dotspots (as they call these 360 videos) can also be embedded on your blog. And as I mentioned, I'll be giving away one of these in a contest later this month. Check here for details: http://www.bigblueball.com/features/create-your-own-360-degree-videos-with-kogeto-dot/
I completely agree with your analysis. People who complain about DM spam are sloppy Twitter users, at best.
Like you, I never auto-follow anyone. I always check them out. Do we have similar interests? Are their Tweets interesting to me in some way? Are they a real, engaging person? If the answers are "no" they don't get followed. And guess what? DM spam has never been a problem for me.
The real question is, how are you building your following: organically or mechanically?
