I understand but I don't. Spent a lot of money for two running backs ,Richardson and Bradshaw when the O-Line and a pass rusher are far greater needs.I know you have to look at whats available so I guess I'll reserve judgement until I see what Richardson can do. I said it before,Griggs is a gambler,he just proved it again.

Complaining about officals is a fruitless endevor in my opinion. You can't do anything about them.

No way we're 11 - 5 with that O-Line and that D . Glad we won but Oakland could be the worst team along with Jacksonville.

A man Chapmans size and weight with a serious knee injury is a risk to come back 100%. He hasn't played 1 down for us . Only time will tell if he can. I wish him the best of luck.I had something very similiar yrs. ago and did play again but many can't.

I think the new regime will try new everything in order to make the team better. A wecome change from the last few years.
2 years ago on Players We Watched: RB Donald Brown | August
I think the final cut will be a whirling derby because they are going to be on the waiver wire like never beore looking for help.
2 years ago on Guessing At the First Roster Cuts: A 75-Man Prediction | August
What you call it really doesn't matter. He is another in a long list of high picks who hasn't played and therefore has set the Colts back yet again.
2 years ago on The Curious Case of Benjamin Ijalana | August
This team lived and died by the draft , choosing to not use free agency to any degree. Last yr. you saw the results. Peytons injury was a major factor but I doubt they would have won more than 6 or 7 games with him.A total rebuild became necessary because of it.
2 years, 4 months ago on Don't Be Surprised Part I - What the 2012 Indianapolis Colts Lost | April
28 million is alot of money even for Jim Irsay especially after 20 plus last yr. without 1 play. He cuts him , he has to.
2 years, 6 months ago on Video Released of Manning Throwing | March
I've watched him on the sidelines and he looks like a robot with a stiff neck. I hate it but I doubt he ever plays again.

Hind sight is always 100 %. Rob Morris was a decent player but I believe the Bears took Brian Urlacker with the next pick. Just saying, not really making a judgement.
2 years, 10 months ago on Judging the Draft: Indianapolis Colts 2000
You can't hit on all and no one is better in the low rds. and UDFA's , the problem is he keeps them too long before determining that they can't play.
2 years, 11 months ago on Polian: Blame me
I think he's trying it (blitzs), because he knows the Lb's can't cover so they might as well blitz. The problem is they are not big enough to do it. Bottom line is they are not very talented to begin with. Safety, we knew that was a problem that for what ever reason was not addressed.

I hate it but Eldridge is starting to sound like another in the long list of guys who seem to be injured to often.

I am sorry to say who ever is making personel decisons this season is sorely lacking. Too many bad ones for an N F L team to be good.
2 years, 11 months ago on Roster in flux
He must be reading the Colts blogs. We have been right on a lot of players not being able to play and being kept far too long ! A ray of sunshine in the darkness, someone with a little common sense.
2 years, 11 months ago on Polian is too emotional?
He gets blown back with straight one on one blocks. He is still pretty good with angle blocks and double teams. These D-Tackles are too big for him one on one. Some of these guys are 340 and even more though they aren't listed at true weights.
2 years, 11 months ago on The point of attack
We have major problems with the O-Line(what else is new). I hope they are looking to pkg. something and trade for a proven guard and pick up another one on wavier wire. Bill and Chris will tell us when they are damn good and ready and not a second before !!!! Go Colts

Go Bucks ! Man where you ever long winded on this one !
2 years, 12 months ago on People Really Hate Jim Tressel
Sorry, He is a better guard by far than anyone we have.
2 years, 12 months ago on Quck Hits on Colts/Bengals
I said it in the summer and I'll say it again, not signing Charlie Johnson was a big mistake. Saturday can no longer block straight up one on one. He gets blown up way too much. He is the straight line to Q B . Mc Clendon can't play yet, Pollack and Richards shouldn't be on any NFL team.Linkenback is at best a backup. The new guys are raw but show potential. Mannings quick reads and release have covered up a great deal. It has to be that way again.
@ Jake Sanders Played the game, we don't play a 3 / 4 so he needs to go.He cannot play in a 4/3.
3 years ago on The Jerry Hughes Project
He cannot play down , period ! If your not playing a 3 /4 defense he won't help you. He is a disaster as a special teams player. Cut your losses with him. They keep guys too long and have proven it over and over. It doesn't matter what the reason is , injury or lack of talent. The end result is the same. Roster space taken up by non productive players.
All of these guys provide quality depth which is something we have needed but not had. Good moves by the front office.
3 years ago on Vet f/a's doing well
They do have real upside as long as they stay healthy. We needed some run blocking, Mannings release takes care of passing, and I see that now.

All true but hope you are all wrong about Peyton. I think you guys hope so too !!!

3 years ago on What Kerry Collins Signing Means For the Colts
I know they are afraid to start 2 rookies on O-line but if Ben is the answer they better do just that.
3 years ago on Blue Sunday on 'Skins game
He probably will play but THE RUST from no practice. WOW. better double team Williams.
3 years ago on Indy Acts Like They Know
Tall usually doesn't work at center and guard. 6' 3" , 325 lbs. probably the ideal. They have to get leverage to get any push for the run game and have to be a space eater to pass block.
3 years ago on Indy line getting tall
No one wishes an injury to anyone ever but it just makes sense to give him as much experience as possibble as quickly as possible.
3 years ago on Give Castonzo a chance
Your comments on the O-Line are right on. We are in trouble if Pollack has to start. I'll start and end with the coaches if they start him. They need to be fired if they start him.

Super job. I can tell you love the Colts.
3 years ago on More Training Camp Notes
I will say a prayer for Painter. Peyton's neck probably won't get better until the O-Line gets fixed. LOL
3 years ago on Camping With the Colts, Day 9
Are you nuts, O-LINE play overrated ? If we had a good O-LIne we would have more than 1 Super Bowl for sure!! The only possible reason anyone could possibly
say that is because we have Peyton Manning.
Old Right Guard
3 years ago on Catching Up on Colts Moves
He is not that good and no one will give up the draft pick that the Colts tender calls for. His agent is doing him a disservice if thats the problem.
