@Diane. Ned Colletti's new position coordinator He did have a propensity for being dinger-prone in Texas, but one never knows how that would have translated to the more pitcher friendly parks in the NL West. He sure was worth keeping, being under team control and all.

Mike, do you think we'll protect Tolleson from the Rule 5 Draft this year? Oh wait....

@LiterallyPFP @The Dude Abides @Lobo Good role for Elijah Wood, too. Just to make sure he wouldn't be typecast after LOTR.

@Lobo @LiterallyPFP Wow, that is really, really sad. Eternal Sunshine was amazing, one of my favorite movies of the past 15 years.

@Lobo @The Dude Abides @BIah The whole premise with Gravity seemed unrealistic, but I enjoyed it anyway. I'm sure it's possible that space debris presents a danger, but I would also expect satellites to orbit in the same direction, so as to avoid collisions if one of them breaks apart while still in high orbit.

@Lobo @BIah I really, really liked Gravity as well.

@Dodgers Nerd Yep...I'll take the word of NDT, Kip Thorne, and my dad. But we probably won't know for another hundred years, as a lot of Interstellar's science questions are theoretical.

@BIah Both really good, but Gravity doesn't hold up scientifically while Interstellar does.

@TellMyWifeISaidHello Interstellar was incredible. I'd wanted to see it for a full year, ever since I saw that first trailer extolling the space program. My household growing up was a space exploration household, as my dad worked for NASA-JPL.

@capnsparrow  @LiterallyPFP Why, yes. Yes it is. Not called, and the example I cited was even more blatant.

@LiterallyPFP There was another blatant hold late in the first half when FSU was driving. One of the offensive lineman got beat by the DE, who was about to sack Winstan. So the lineman turned around and grabbed the back of the DE's jersey right in front of the ref and held him up. No call. FSU I think only had two penalties called on them the entire game, for a total of 15 yards.

Ends up with an 11.5 K/9 and 3.25 BB/9. Farhan tweets out his thanks to The Dude, who then hurriedly registers for a Twitter account and begs Farhan to tweet it again.

@LiterallyPFP You're aware that Andrus and Hanley tied for the 5th worst DRS among all major league shortstops in 2014, right? I don't think our new front office will want to commit that much money to someone who can't hit and whose defense is slipping.

I just saw a huge fireball in the eastern sky about 30 minutes ago. Searched the twitterverse to see what it might be and saw something about Red Bull paragliders in Chicago with bright lamps, so I wondered if they're doing the same promotion here in LA. Nope. Further checking and tonight is the first night of the Taurid meteor shower, characterized by slow-moving, extremely bright fireballs. Yep...this was it, bright green. Rate my story.
