SheldonTaylor Thanks! We do try...
Rush Card Pro Glad we could offer some depth on the subject from someone who really knows what he's talking about.
LauLau81 Glad to see you're finding some useful articles here on the site :)
LauLau81 Gentleman soldiers!
Droy It's hard to find any classic menswear style that doesn't have its roots in military uniforms somewhere!
rkinger Sounds like you're doing it right (apart from the lost luggage, of course!) -- keep it up and it'll pay off for you. And I'll second what's already been said, wearing a hat is no big deal. Just make sure it's a style you feel comfortable and confident, and always take it off when you first meet someone or start speaking to them. You can put it back on in a few sentences if you're talking to another man (best to leave it off with ladies), but that thirty-second doff is just impossible to beat for class.
JonFurtado That's doing it right! Thanks for taking the time to share with us -- we love to hear from other people's dressing experiences.
jcervone That's a good point. Insurance cards or any medical information tags (that don't get a wrist bracelet of their own) are definitely worth the space they take up!
JWise I think the military does a great job teaching the importance of your personal presentation, overall, but I like the idea of talking about re-adjusting to civilian clothing after life in uniform -- if we do something on that, I'll definitely turn to Antonio and his experience with the Marines as the expert!
Diamondpick There's no reason you can't throw a casual sport jacket or sweater on with a pair of Khuls, honestly. It's dressier but still hardly business dress. Glad the article was helpful!
handslikesecrets Thanks for the link! An unusual style -- some of those colors aren't for the faint-of-heart, but I like what they're going for!
Gordey Glad you're making use of these great sweaters! Thanks for commenting -- we always appreciate hearing from readers.
jonathanpike Contrast cuffs (with color inside the cuff that's different from the outside) are definitely some of the best ones for rolling! And if you're handy with a needle and thread, or you have a friend who is, they're easy to add to just about any casual shirt, too...
We mostly steer clear of advocating specific brands/stores in our articles, but these are all helpful suggestions -- great to have this sort of comment; thanks Morty!
Nope -- you're doing it just right. Keep up the good work!
I'm not sure we have done a hot-weather clothing here on RMRS -- I'll double-check the archives, but that might be something we need to do going forward!
We've done a couple articles on cold-weather underwear -- maybe cold-weather outerwear needs to come next? We'll look at doing something like that now that winter's coming on!
So glad you liked it -- definitely more to come here at RMRS!
We'll definitely be doing more articles on general professional topics like this as well as clothing, going forward!
It's a good point. We're pretty used to just writing for a male audience here! Thanks for taking the time to point that out.
