I'm not aware of any way to do this through the usual controls in the theme. I'm sure it can be done through a change in the code if you want to get into that level of detail.

@hikingnature Scroll down to find the plugin "Twenty Eleven Theme Extensions." I downloaded and installed this plugin while logged in to Wordpress using the dashboard, and had the entire thing loaded and configured and working perfectly in literally less than one minute.

Have you tried editing the Page, and under "Template" on the right side, selected "Default Template" from the drop-down box, instead of "Sidebar Template"?

Hello, I hope I haven't offended anyone by mistake. I left a question a few weeks ago and haven't heard back from anyone. When using this child theme two unusual things happened. 1. Each post now has the date published and the user name, while before, under the original Twenty Eleven, it was just the date published (there is only one user name on the site); and 2. I lost all of the images that I uploaded for the header rotation. After I restored the original Twenty Eleven, everything was back to normal. Any thoughts about what could have happened?

Hello Chris, I was wondering if you had a chance to look at these two issues from a couple of weeks ago. Thanks, Glenn

Thanks for writing the child theme. I installed it and the sidebar appeared appropriately on the post pages. However, two unusual things happened.
