Hi Juli, i know you are facing so many problems right now, with unreasonable lawyers and all that. (My 5c on lawyers is.. They're paid to press you, so just speak the truth, even if its 100,000 times. Some ppl need more time to get it than others, heh.) Its okay to feel depressed - depression and anxiety levels in Singapore are actually much higher than the global average. What I think would help is having someone you can talk to honestly. A friend, a dog, a cat, bunbun.. It doesn't necessarily need to be a person. Of course if you approach a psychologist or counsellor, they will guide you and keep track of your progress. But what i think would help is getting frank, just airing out whatever feelings comes to mind. Anger, frustration, sadness, moments of happiness.. everything! Oftentimes this alone is enough, and you'll find your solution on your own in time. Don't give up hope okay Juli! Just writing this blog post probably was quite cathartic for you, right? :p Jiayou, stay positive, stay strong! :hugs:
S/N: if you're looking for actual, tangible solutions, some which i think are good are CBT journalling, calming/ uplifting music, exercise, morning/evening sunshine, dogs/cats (playing with a friend's pet works, or stray cats if you don't mind - just wash when you get home), and if you really really need it - then meds.
