Let's try this again...I'd love to win this Lenovo! My desktop is about 8 years old, and it's too slow to handle podcasting and photo editing software, which I'm trying to do to enhance my blog (interview podcasts, improved graphics, etc.).
Hope is such a great start, Natalie. I can't imagine the level of pain you must have endured and continue to endure. Please know that, no matter what, you are loved, remembering that it doesn't come from a place or source outside of you, but within you. I believe in YOU. I mean, just look at the ridiculous amount of strength you have! You're a survivor, and now it's time to thrive. You are a gladiator! I think the best way to heal is to help others heal. You're doing just that. Thank you for making this world a better place, seriously. Thank you.
Charlie of @HowToBeADad sent me. I'm lucky in that I had a "fallback" career. It's what's keeping my family in a house with food in the fridge. If I wasn't married to it, I'd leave in a second. Best Buy may not sound like the most appealing option, but there are worse ones. Best of luck to you. You'll get your bone.
Congrats, Mandy! I'll try not to hold it against you. I hope you and your family have lots of fun with it!
I haven't been feeling like much of a superhero dad lately (and wrote an open letter of apology to my kids on my blog), so I sought out this post that I remembered reading months ago. I wanted to compare myself to the Costco dad, and to the dad I always envisioned myself to be. Thanks for the reminder.
Excellent, Dan! Thank you for making this world a better place.
Dan, I must admit that I've gotten away from reading your blog as regularly as I used to, as is evident in my comments. I've let my own blog slide a bit, but I've got lots of ideas for it. That said, I will definitely take you up on your challenge! I've been meaning to write a bit of a manifesto, and this might be the little nudge I needed to get started. I'll let you know when it's done. Congratulations, and thank you for being a positive force in our world.
True that, Single Dad Laughing ! Make it your own. It's a freeing feeling, taking responsibility for your own emotions. Keep up the great work!
