I just saw that you linked to my post. Thanks so much for that. It's true that depression has so many causes. Sometimes I think it's hard to pinpoint one thing, which is why depression can be so frustrating. I thank you for shining a light on a topic so many people struggle with, and one that can have such shame and stigma associated with it. The more we talk about mental illness, the better off we'll be. Cheers!

I feel you with this one. Sometimes it takes me weeks to recenter. The best thing to do for me (and I have the luxury of being able to do this because I don't have kids) is take a full day to take care of all the stuff just sitting around. But I alternate between doing one thing I need to do and one thing I've been wanting to do, like read a chapter of a book or knit for 15 minutes. At the end of the day, things are done and I'm a happy camper.
