@Bullitt315  @mightymikeD  @wardrums ONE OF THE BEST sporting events i ever attended was the CONCAF champioship at Soldier Field about five years ago. It pitted Mexico's national team against the US bunch. Soccer played at that level is spellbinding. Mexico had this foward, I think #21, that ran around like the ball was superglued to his feet. Soccer's version of Patrick Kane.

The US won on a penalty kick after a questionable call when one of the Mexcian defenders allegedly tripped Landon Donovan. The crowd, in Chicago mind you, was about 90% for the lads in the green and red uniforms. i was sort of glad to get back to the car unscathed,as the pro Mexican crowd was a little grumpy as we left Soldiers field. No "como se qua qua," jokes from me.

Well done oh Mighty one.

I came close to getting itno a fist fight I would have clearly lost defending Kane on Wednesday morning. i've watched a lot of Blackhawk hockey over the last 50 years and can count onone hand players like Kane that come along once in a blue moon.

Didn't it seem that when 20/65/25 were on the ice bad things were happenning for the Kings?

Does Greene get suspended for his wicked crosscheck on Shaw? A lot worse than Keiths moment of insanity IMO. Also, if he cut Chicken Hawks nose, shouldn't the penalty have been 4 minutes. Greene should be sittting a few games at the start of next season.

I liked your soccer analogy and Bick's agent foregoing the Maseratti and going straight for the Yacht!

I did not have enough courage to oprn the Dustin the Turkey clip

Hawk fans are going to start hating Bradly Marchand on his first shift against us on Wednesday - guaranteed.

I'm a win this mofo! - beautiful

Good wrap Mighty one. Looking at your mug shot though, I'm fairly convinced you are indeed Polish.

I was in Austin and Rayburn Texas this week, so only got to catch the Hawk King game in a pub called Stumps in Rayburn. The walls were decorated with the logo festooned shirts of Bass Fishing greats.

Back to civilization and getting the hawks aon a roll again tomorrow.

"He's getting the job done when his # is called." - bingo he actually made quite a few stellar saves. Avalnache only had 22 shots, but it seemed a good majority of them were precarious.

Graet caption under the phote. How did the nick name Gorilla salad come about.

Get Shorty was extremely clever- it took 5 minutes for me to figure it out. I love the scene in that movie where Hackman tells the mobster to look at him - next scene, hackman is in a body cast.

Do not break up the thrid line - think kharma Q, think kharma.

Ha, it worked - excellent wrap JMH.

"soft wrist shot from the circle" - any shot from the circle can be dangerous - I thought the initial save was a good one and it appearred for one reason or another he couldn't get a glove on it. A lot of the blogs were politely critical of R-dawg - Please stop!

I think Q was resting Rosi for Sunday - three games in four days might make him stale, but I totally agree he's our unequivocal #6 d-man. Played huge in the last two games.

Indeed, ring the bell on Johansen's goal.

I hope your love for the third line is a Platonic type love

Give Bickell a raise - Now!

The only thing I disagree with, and I noticed it on several sites, was the dismissal of the Jackets efforts. I expected a snore last night and instead was nervously enjoying the total contest. It seemed both teams opened up the governor last night. (I have no clue what a governor is, but it sounded good.)

Where's my Tazer Channelling?!?!

Really like the pictures on the sides of this site

Great recap - it's like you were channelling my mind.

I plan on picking Fasth up in my Faantasy League this morning.

I only saw the third period and OT, as I drove home from the saloon after two beers I thought to myself, "Did the Hawks have any shots in the third period?

Good to see Cor-dawg keep on rolling.

At least we'll be rested. If Corey stands tall, I like our chances - the confidence level is palpable. Hell, Lababreba, or whatever his name is, probably prevented two more scores.

one of my concerns is the team letting up. Hell, with 20 points they sure are not in a desperation mode.

My feelings exactly as far as the gentleman above encouraging  Smith!

"Fleckman Fartson or whatever your name is?" - great channelling.

Great picture of Toews - man he's playing at a high level right now.

Toews has apparently not forgotten the cheap shot that may have started the concussion problems last year. I can't remember when I saw !9 so mad. Thorton is  a cheap shot artist and really needs a good ass kicking - you know, someone to straighten him out, send him a message.

Thanks for putting the late night effort into the "Boxing" - I really didn't expect to see anything this early today.

Did I see Q putting Saad out there on the PK? He sure does not look like a rookie - hopefully the flood gates have opened for the promising winger.

Brian Bickell was a one man wrecking ball. Excellent!

Saad, Shaw and Freddy scoring never bodes well for the opposition. When they do it on the same night, well, game over bitches.

I don't know what to think about Keith's defense of Mayers. One part of me says "Kick his ass, Seabass," and the other agrees with your assesment - loved the Lou brown quote- where did you dig that one up.

Is it just me, or does it seem the teams we play really pinch their defensemen a lot.

crawford made a lot of huge saves - he swatted one rediredt away with his glove like it was an annoying fly.

Good wrap and Box. And yes Captain, I must adnit I did fear thw worst. Forgive me, it won't happen again.

i was watching the proceedings at a friends and said, "Boy, the way things are going I'd settle for one point tonight."

leddy's rush reminded me of campbell a bit. Nan he's been playing well. All in all, Rosival looked pretty good to me. I'm not sure what the responsibilities were on that play, but it seemed Leddy could have slid over to pick up Whitney - hell of a shot by the old geezer.

I've really like Cor-dawg's play so far. Does the puck trickling through the five hole mean he's going down a fraction of a second too late? It looked like Toews waited for Lehtonen to drop before he obliterated the upper corner. Two trampoline shots on our last two goals. You know that's right.

Hjarmal's continue's to play as if Keith is inhabiting his body

Finally, Erickson is a bitch. I've had him on my Fantasy team the last three years and the guy just keeps producing. if the play of Brent Seabrook is our biggest concern...well we just might be in for a pretty good season.

In addition - anyone still want to trade Kane for ryan Miller?

Boxing! Yes! Channeling - Yes!

I thought the call on Hjarmal'swas bogus. I haven't heard anyone really analyze it - but he sure seemed to be fighting for the puck.

Can i talk about Ovechkin then?

hard to pin that one on crow IMO. wasn't great, but that was the worst defensive effort i've seen all year.

I'd say emery friday and crow against the blues - I want to beat those knuckleheads so bad.

I thought Carcillo looked more like the early season Carbomb. He didn't have to pick on langkow - that was sort of futile, but all in all I appreciated his effort.

Mama told us there's be days like this.

You lucky dog! It's almost like you made that story up. It better be placed in a prominent spot in your home, it's obviously a good luck charm, possibly another affirmation that Q knows something we don't know.

On Toews first goal, I was listening on the radio and troy murray pointed something out. It took Keith a few secoonds to pull the trigger on that shot. Troy said he himself was thinking , "Shoot, shoot it," and then he realized Keith was waiting for soem traffic to materialize in front of the net. As much as I love Scott, I don't think he makes that play.

Brunette's assist was a beauty, I'm starting to like him more and more. Especially on our 2nd PP unit. don't ask me why but Bolls/Freddy/Bruno/Leddy/Montador has been in beast mode. Don't mees with this,Q

Two things, first, how about that second PP unit of ours - give it up please!

second, I agree with your we start the game without a sense of urgency assessment.

Finally as Co-founder and President of the Duncan Keith Admiration Society, he was a bit special yesterday. More of that tonight, please. And wasn't it great to see Sea Biscuit back out there, regardless of how he played
