Good to see Jesper Fast get some goals. He hasn't had lots of chances before to show us  what he can do before TC because of his injuries.Looks like he was getting going as the tournament ended.Hope he continues to roll now.It would be outstanding if Kristo, Lindberg and Fast could all really have dynamite training camps.

Oscar Lindberg continues to impress. He had elite year last year and now after seeing those nice snipes, I'm starting to feel hopeful about him playing on the Rangers this year.

Stepan can score goals, Brassard can too Cally and Hags will both score when they get back., MDZ can score some.Richards and Zuccs are good for some. Those are all fairly sure bets.If just one of the new guys can light the lamp on the big team we are going to be fine:Krieder, Kristo, Lindberg or Miller Jesper Fasth is a goal scorer, with AV increased offence most of these players will score more goals.

Pretty happy with all the new coaches and don't wish to prejudge anyone. We are better off at this level now with the coaching staff we have instead of just two people. If things absolutely have to be changed in a particular game in my opinion this makes it a lot easier to adapt.

Hrivik's a good wild card.Could be a smart set up man with hands to finish.Brassard has found his game and I'm looking for him to have a dynamite season.

Staal's our main man.If he can play at the same level as he was before the eye injury we're going to the Cup final. He's close to the best defenseman in the NHL when he plays at that level.Good luck Staalsy!

If Callahan's out ,Kristo,Miller or Fasth might see some NHL time.Maybe one of them will stick at RW this year.

@KevinDeLury @farlands20121That would be good. I hope he gets the chance to play on the Rangers roster regularly this year, He is a  good gritty skilled player and If he can finish and not turn the puck over he would be an overall benefit to the team.

Going to be interesting to see these new players.Really into the Rangers this year b/c everything seems so solid and well thought out.-so many many years of building and development to reach this point.

Kevin,no need to worry about Miller ever playing soft, I just wonder if he can make the roster out of training camp b/c there is so much great competition even with the extra spots of Cally and Hags.

If MacIlrath has a big year in the AHL/ NHL, and its rolling around that time in his development -any thoughts about Girardi extension could become less serious, We'll be fairly strong on D if MacIlrath meets team expectations.Danny G could be a trade in the stretch run.

I think Lundqvist and Callahan will re-sign, this is a tight knit team with a lot of history together-many of the prospects and young players have been together for years as well. Rangers believe they are a cup contender there isn't much doubt. and Cally and Lundy also buy into that SC goal for sure. They'll be signed.

If Marc Staal is close to 100 percent healthy, it would not be advisable to trade him.

Trade Girardi or MDZ first if a roster dman regular absolutely must be traded for cap.

Healthy ,Staal is a true game breaker when he is on his game.Trading him would set the entire team back.

Good luck Krieder. Not really any excuses this year and we are going to get a real accurate idea of where he stands compared to the other players, I hope he steps up and suceeds well.AV has a system that allows offensive talent to flourish, so this is Krieder's chance, He doesn't want to be in AVs doghouse, which is reportedly hard to get out of, so he has to give his110 % best effort all the time.If he gets the points, its the best answer for him.

I hope JT is healed up by training camp for his sake, because there is going be a lot of highly skilled competition for the spots of Hags and Cally. Any prospect who doesn't show up fully ready or out of shape is looking at the Wolfpack.

Most goalie prospects are a gamble that only shows results when they are tested in pro situations.Good luck to this guy and to the Rangers, but keep on signing goaltenders unless somebody shows they are future Lundqvists. Hopefully we have Henrik for another decade aka Dominik Hasek or Martin Brodeur.

Bring on the prospects and let em play Will  they televise Traverse city?-it could be a good indicator to Ranger fans of what prospects stand a chance in the NHL.Obviously a prospect like this Russian must have some other outstanding quality such as speed to make up for his stature.Strength and high skills are the hallmarks of NHLers.

As far as the Rangers prospects situation I was reading another blog and a list of them which shows right now we are doing alright in the prospect pool and can continue the way we have been building the Rangers from the farm.Next year I hope they get back to drafting 1st round carefully and don't trade away any high picks again for at least  four or five years.

The people picking Canada's team must have seen the same player I did last year.

Sorry to rain on anyone's Girardi love in parade, but I watched a bunch of games last year where he played like crap. What bugs me about him is when he is on the powerplay, if you don't know what I am talking about then you didn't watch any games last year.I think he only had one or two nice goals out of all the shots he took last year.If he ever shows the kind of crap he pulled last season again,he is eminently tradeable and far from a mainstay on this team.Right now all he is is just a  roster regular who can be traded for a good return, no problem.

Good trade for both teams.2 Ranger trained roster players who are NHL regulars and in their prime.Arty and Dubi have raised the compete level of Columbus-as Arty said  about his play"Go Go Go!"He learned that kind of compete on the Rangers.

As far as Rich Nash-simply an elite player still in his prime years. He is  a player who can carry a team on his back. With AV coaching him, he will be playing his optimum, and with the other skilled forwards such as Stepan , Hagelin ,Brassard  and Krieder also benefiting from AV's increased offence,Nash will have a lot of weight lifted from his shoulders .He should be relaxed and be in beast mode this year.
