Picked it up for the Kindle this morning - hope it is awesome. By the way, it's strange how it is shown on Amazon. Normally when you click on a specific format, for instance paperback, the page shows the other options like kindle, hardcover, mass market etc, but Amazon is only showing the format that you selected. To make this worse, when I searched for the book on Amazon the only result that came up was for the kindle edition so some people might not realize that there is a paperback version which could result in lost sales.

I certainly see your point, but I think that there is more to improving that simply knowing the offense.
I think game experience (which Painter lacks much of) is also extremely important to the development of a quarterback.

I am one of those who thought that Painter looked better than Collins, but I think it is for a very different reason that you suggest.
I am a Purdue fan and after watching Painter bumble his way to numerous losses for the Boilers, my expectations for his first start were so incredibly low that I was pleasantly surprised at how well he played - compared to my expectations.
I didn't expect Collins to be good, but I was hoping for mediocre. We didn't get that. I think that disappointment colors the overall perception of his performance relative to Painter.
I also disagree that Collins is more likely to improve than Painter. I think Collins is more likely to get worse than better given his age and health. I think Painter at least has a chance to get to mediocre.
