Who is the Doctor

Something called "Clara and the Movers". Clara makes the TARDIS mad by asking it to be a moving truck. Hilarious results breaks outs when the TARDIS dumps Clara's stuff into the time vortex.

1 day, 3 hours ago on Peter Capaldi clocks in to Entertainment Weekly
What is so amazing is reading the comments of the posters here, they are from all extremes about the episodes. We are all fans, we all love Doctor Who, yet we can watch the same episode and react differently to that episode. We are all different people, and have different likes and dislikes. It makes sense that we will react differently to an episode in different ways. Not everyone will like the same things. It doesn't make my or your opinion any less valid.
Everyone just needs to step back and remember that this is just a TV show, not an UN debate toward a Middle East peace treaty.
My opinion, very seldom is any episode in the "perfect" category. I can find flaws in most episodes but that doesn't necessarily prevent me from enjoying the episode. Same way that I don't place many episodes in the "trash" category either. Overall I gave 7A a 7/10 score. I enjoyed it, but it didn't walk on water either.

Series 7A brought us Clare and brought about the death of Amy and Rory. It was a bitter sweet season where we saw both companions die, both Amy and Clara yet knowing there was a chance that one could still live on.

The BBC knows what they are doing. They are trying to make break into the studio early and watch it before anyone else. But don't do it. They have a squad of Jadoon waiting for you and you will have to see the evil one -The Moffat. He will make you watch hours of American TV like Get Smart and Hogans Heros.

@drjakeyoung The BBC is releasing a limited edition 50th Anniversary Collectors Edition that I am hoping that has the deleted scenes included. It is to be released on 8 September and we will find out then.
It may not be as special as the 50th, but it is a nice reason for a fellow whovians to get together and celebrate Doctor Who. And that is alway something that should be appreciated.
This just adds excitement to the brand and may make a 8 year old walk by and ask, "Who is the Doctor?" starting him or her on his journey to the unknown worlds that the Doctor can visit.

I had never heard of Big Finish until late last year and bought my first audio download from them to see what the big deal was. I fell in love with them right away and started to spend lots and lots of money with them. Now I have the entire main range collection, the entire 4th, and 8th Doctors collections and now working on the companion chronicles. Also have the 50th Anniversary collection. Being retired gave me the time to listen to them.
I have enjoyed most of them, there are always ones that I enjoy more than others, but it have found that BF always put time and effort into each and everyone of there productions. They never tried to take the easy way out.

@sontaran17 But the way he might go about approaching those goals could alienate Clara and others around him. His "darker approach" may only be personality related vs action related and if personality based would only affect those around him.

I just pre-ordered on ibooks and they are releasing on 9 September 2014 which is two days before the release date that is announced in the article. Which really means that I would get in on my iPad the evening before that. Book release dates in the US is normally on a Tuesday so the 9th would fit. I am looking forward to reading The Blood Cell.

@chmayer I learned that since this is a British website, we should use the term Series for the yearly term instead of the U.S term of Season. It just keeps the terms straight and respectful of our British hosts. I will only use the term Season when I am speaking with another U.S speaker.

I personally put in the same category as his comment about how to fly the TARDIS and the color of his kidney's. Something that is due to his regeneration and should just be dismissed. Remember that the 11th Doctor liked to walk into trees too.

My first time was watching "The Impossible Astronaut" and I was thinking that there was this nutty, deranged guy called the Doctor and I really liked it! Then I found out that it had been on since the 60's and I wondered were I had been that I had missed it (I am old enough to have watched back then).
Anyway, I have fallen in love with it and watched all of the new series and many of the classics. Even listen to the Big Finish audios.

1 month, 2 weeks ago on Clara Oswald – A Question of Perspective
@ClaraOswald I really is an episode that you have to watch again to appreciate more. His sending away of Clara was his attempt to protect her, to save her. It was his way to show his way of caring of her, knowing that if she stayed she would have died of old age in front of him. Now I am an old softy and I have even weeped at the end but you really need to sit back and enjoy a second watch of the episode. You will find that you will see all of the small things that you missed the first viewing. I enjoyed it even more the second watching.

Probably just wait until the iTunes version is released after midnight so I don't have to wade through the commercials and watch it before the Sunday football schedule. In any case, it is looking like it is going to be a great series 8 with the Doctor and Clara this year and I just can't wait to see the chemistry with the both of them.

Now that we have a new Doctor, we will expect great things. Will we get them? Who knows! But I will always tune in like the fan I am, expecting to be entertained, amazed by the Doctor and his companion. We will have monsters, excitement, history, space and time, the TARDIS heaving and pitching, great guest stars, old favorites visiting. In other words, we will have a wonderful 13 episodes of excitement to come. Now Moffat just needs to deliver!
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Change, My Dear: Rebirth from the 50th
@The_Eternal_Dalek @TheSoundofDrums According to the FAQ on the Big Finish website, they say that they can use only the first 8 Doctors and their companions in accordance with the license with the BBC. So that is what is out in writing, but as to what is going on behind the scenes, we don't really know.
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Is it Time to Give Big Finish the New Who Licence?
@AztecsDaleksAndCavemen But the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Doctors are not getting any younger, nor are the companions from those era's either. So Big Finish better be looking at reworking the contracts with the BBC to allow the use of the new era Doctor's and companion's or look at a significant reduction in there business in the next 15 years as the actors pass away or become unable to work.
@KarenBee From my understanding, Big Finish has each script approved by the BBC in any case to ensure that it isn't conflicting with plans that Moffat has for the show.
And another thing that I heard on the Big Finish audios was that only the time lords could regenerate. The rest of the Gallifrey society only lived a standard life span to prevent planet overpopulation.
3 months ago on What was life on Gallifrey like Pre-Time War?
I think you saw a hint of the regular behind the scene life at the beginning of TNOTD when the two repairmen wondered who wanted to steal an old TARDIS.
Hers looking forward to a great 8th series with Clara and the 12th Doctor. The Doctor is going to have his hands full with Clara.
3 months ago on 10 Scene Stealing Clara Moments
Now that I have been thinking about this, the 60th anniversary in 2023 would mean that we potentially would be looking at the 13th or even the 14th Doctor at that point. So how many Doctors would they really want in the 60th special? If you are on the 14th Doctor, of course you would have that one, so you would potentially looking at 6 Doctors in the special since Eccleston. That maybe too many to work into the show and make any sense of the plot.

I wonder if he would still be voted as the "Ultimate Doctor" now that Matt Smith's reign as the Doctor has finished and Peter Capalti's reign has started? You can even throw in John Hurt for the fun of it, not that I would even think he has a chance of winning. Even Paul McGann's popularity after the 50th anniversary has improved after his showing in "The Night of the Doctor".
@DWTV Thanks for taking the time to put it all together. You won't please everyone anyway!

And that is my theory -The TARDIS is jealous of Clara. She gives Clara a hard time unless it is necessary to save the Doctor (see "Hide"). After Clara risked her life to save the Doctor in TNOTD, the TARDIS started to like her as seen in TDOTD and TTOTD.
3 months, 3 weeks ago on Why Does the TARDIS Dislike Clara? Moffat Teases Answers
@NeutronFlow Was it mistrust or was the TARDIS jealous of Clara? I am wondering if it was more of the jealous side. The TARDIS did let her in once the gateway was open in "Hide" to save the Doctor, and warmed to Clara after she gave her life to save the Doctor in TNOTD as we saw in the beginning of TDOTD.
