The nav bar isn't bad... past that, the rest of the site is absolutely hideous. easily one of the worst designs of this decade thus far. :(I'm not just saying so because I'm resistant to change... it really is bad.
Very nice. About time we started getting some respect down here in SoCal. :)
"Bad things could happen, so we need more control!"
This whole project intrigues me, but I'm not quite sure what to make of it as an outside observer. Why hasn't Tony hosted any events or festivals there? Where's the Disrupt Vegas hackathon or something similar?
Just being brutally honest... I'm curious but timid, like I'm sure many entrepreneurs are.
Mistake in the title. :)
This is how they're gonna change the world? Kinda sad.
It's a big deal because they've allowed it for years. People have built businesses on it and it wasn't against the rules -- it was encouraged! Many credit twitters success to third party clients. And now they're clamping down on third party clients in favor of their own client which hasn't been updated in over a year... and doesn't even offer the full experience that their website does, much less competing apps.
Thats my take on it, at least. I don't have a chip in the twitter game, though.
Ugh. I like the idea, but this thing posted everything I did to my Facebook profile. NOT the right way to do an app. :(
@PhilShpilberg @Andrew James lol... yeah I went and looked it up, just thought it was worth mentioning. :)
You linked to their competitor but not to them?
