You'll like Chile Duck's depth chart at http://web.nmsu.edu/~ogden/oregon/depthchart.html
It is color coded for six different categories based on goducks.com information. Nice.
@duckified Agree, except the Edsel was doomed because it was the only Ford product named after a person and not a thing (and it was ugly even by 1958 standards).

@MicTod Dale's "defense looks tougher..." on 13 Aug details a much stronger D.
The safeties defending the four vertical routes would suffer from severe acute respiratory syndrome or SARS attacks.

When will the NCAA hear Ragin's hardship appeal? LBs have added a lot of muscle mass. Must be those Brazilian Ipe weight room floors and Pellum's incentives.

Woody Allen said 90% of success is just showing up. The blue collar tells the kids to show up a little early EVERY day, concentrate and work hard. The facilities don't matter, because blue collar guys always take a shower AFTER work. Remember Benoit adds a fourth head to that monster being a big, shifty, fast 200 pounder. On average, 65% run and 35% pass works best with the zone read and the personnel is in place.

@duckified new unis were introduced at the Alamo.
@duckified @SonomaDuck Intensify Pacific Island recruiting. Go beyond Hawaii to Fiji, both Samoas and Tonga. Oregon seems to be a good fit for Islanders.
@Dale Newton @DrakeMallard Yeah, that's why I said "rummy", but is there anything that can be done in time? Are we just pre-lamenting a 11-2 or 10-3 season with all these gifted athletes?
7 months ago on The challenge facing Don Pellum and the Oregon defense
@Dale Newton @DrakeMallard Yes, aware of Helf's pack reference. That same reference AD INFINITUM ages quickly. Rummy said you go to war with the army you have. This D will need an average of 10 O TDs.
WTF, guys, give the back packs a rest. D line is an immediate problem that search and destroy LBs and big Pacific Islanders waiting for the call, can help. Now, my field pack makes me the god of hell fire, top of the food chain and can send Squatch whimpering in awe like a little tyke (hates the green laser). Don't discount organized packs, but, please drop the reference.
@Dale Newton @duckified As mentioned earlier, it takes big stones to curl (48 pounders), and it is exciting as Furd's offense. Jeg elske Norske curling bukse. Uff da!
8 months ago on ESPN Insider asks, Does Oregon even matter next season?
@Dale Newton @DrakeMallard It's not you. Coaches need to coach their way out of "that of which we do not speak." Coaches need to stop the recurrence from now, forward.
8 months ago on The Curse of The Maldonado and how to break it
Refer to it as "that of which we do not speak." Stop the repetition.
Will Harris is adjusting his meds,.... again.
@lexusduck @SonomaDuck Four 200 pound RBs, 1 with hyper-drive, 2 with warp, and 1 with mercurial speed should gas the big boppers pursuing inside and out. Ludicrous WR speed will gas the remaining D. Only 27 weeks, 5 days and 17 hours to South Dakota at Autzen.
8 months, 1 week ago on Christian Kirk a cult classic in the 2015 recruiting chase
@Dale Newton @Ducko30 @DrakeMallard I suppose he COULD love it like water running off a Duck's back. Gore-Tex was invented years after my graduation. Hobo has a point, too.
He wants to play somewhere warm. Can anyone persuade him to play where it is cool and wet?
"Delay of game" IS moronic for playing fast. "Substitution interference" makes more sense. 40 seconds is long enough for 3 different motions and sets which would probably be more confusing. Everyone standing up and looking at the sideline for a new call is disconcerting to a defense, too. They won't change the rule, but there would still be plenty the O could do to confuse the D into blown coverage.
8 months, 1 week ago on NCAA should call a targeting foul on rules committee
@SonomaDuck AND suburban Philomath, Beavers!
8 months, 1 week ago on The Biggest Challenge facing the Oregon Ducks
I wanna see Kani Benoit, too, and a RB Damion Hobbs jump pass to a wide open TE, WR, or slot. With inside, outside O speed, every game should be like Christmas morning. Hope that Rata doesn't gray shirt and if Roseberry gets buried in RBs, he can bring a load at LB (Mister 33 tackles in one game as a prep). Only 79 days, 23 hours, and 45 minutes until kick off.
8 months, 1 week ago on Marcus Mariota needs a wingman, and Thomas Tyner has Top Gun talent
@Dale Newton @DrakeMallard There might be an applicable legal challenge for remote schools such as UO, OSU, and WSU with limited air service. Although not backwoods, these schools are at a distinct disadvantage when compared to the commercial air service available to the rest of the PAC12. Legal counsel should argue an exception.
8 months, 2 weeks ago on How 2014-15 can be Oregon's best recruiting year ever
Since the University can provide transportation to the athlete and family, the Gulfstream 550 is a great recruiting tool. Non-stop from any US city or Pacific Island to Eugene solves the remoteness problem for the 4-5 star recruit and eliminates the 5 1/2 hour commercial flight delay. The G550 can give the athlete a full 48 hours on campus, and one exists with Oregon helmet wings on the tail. Soze, chill.
Yes, a Pacific pipeline from Hawaii, Samoa, and Tonga, the last Pacific Kingdom is an excellent start. A defense with attitude fired up by a pre-game Tongan War Chant is a beautiful thing and can build a tradition of tough, determined D. Mullens should talk to Will Tukuafu and Haloti Ngata to draft them as coaches after the NFL to see if they fit at UO, again.
Great insight that he took the Cal job to appreciate the Oregon Way. We are in excellent hands at DC and looking forward to an effective 3-4, 2-5, 1-6 or 0-7 D line set with confidence.
8 months, 2 weeks ago on How Don Pellum will improve the Oregon defense
Bralon's catch against the Beavs, both toes in, body parallel with the turf, elbow 4 inches above, with total body control sums up his talent. That photo is my desk top background. Reviewing it on the wide screen, his right shoelace touched a millisecond before his left elbow. Looking forward to 2014 offensive output. PS., OSU should tone down the orange, just a little.
8 months, 2 weeks ago on If you're counting the reasons to be optimistic, Bralon Addison is a big one
@SonomaDuck Saturday, May 3rd is only 85 days, 19 hours and 50 minutes away.
8 months, 2 weeks ago on Oregon football recruiting: the glass may be half full, but I was going to order another round anyway
Realistically, the glass is ALWAYS full, 1/2 liquid, 1/2 air, is still full. Based on those 8 undisclosed criteria, this is an excellent class and is exactly what the coaches wanted.
