@duckified @SonomaDuck Intensify Pacific Island recruiting.  Go beyond Hawaii to Fiji, both Samoas and Tonga.  Oregon seems to be a good fit for Islanders.

@Dale Newton @DrakeMallard  Yeah, that's why I said "rummy", but is there anything that can be done in time?  Are we just pre-lamenting a 11-2 or 10-3 season with all these gifted athletes?

@Dale Newton @DrakeMallard  Yes, aware of Helf's pack reference.  That same reference AD INFINITUM ages quickly.  Rummy said you go to war with the army you have.  This D will need an average of 10 O TDs.

WTF, guys, give the back packs a rest.  D line is an immediate problem that search and destroy LBs and big Pacific Islanders waiting for the call, can help.  Now, my field pack makes me the god of hell fire, top of the food chain and can send Squatch whimpering in awe like a little tyke (hates the green laser).  Don't discount organized packs, but, please drop the reference.

"Delay of game" IS moronic for playing fast.  "Substitution interference" makes more sense.  40 seconds is long enough for 3 different motions and sets which would probably be more confusing.  Everyone standing up and looking at the sideline for a new call is disconcerting to a defense, too.  They won't change the rule, but there would still be plenty the O could do to confuse the D into blown coverage.

I wanna see Kani Benoit, too, and a RB Damion Hobbs jump pass to a wide open TE, WR, or slot.  With inside, outside O speed, every game should be like Christmas morning.  Hope that Rata doesn't gray shirt and if Roseberry gets buried in RBs, he can bring a load at LB (Mister 33 tackles in one game as a prep).  Only 79 days, 23 hours, and 45 minutes until kick off.

@Dale Newton @DrakeMallard  There might be an applicable legal challenge for remote schools such as UO, OSU, and WSU with limited air service.  Although not backwoods, these schools are at a distinct disadvantage when compared to the commercial air service available to the rest of the PAC12.  Legal counsel should argue an exception.

5 months, 2 weeks ago on How 2014-15 can be Oregon's best recruiting year ever

Since the University can provide transportation to the athlete and family, the Gulfstream 550 is a great recruiting tool.  Non-stop from any US city or Pacific Island to Eugene solves the remoteness problem for the 4-5 star recruit and eliminates the 5 1/2 hour commercial flight delay.  The G550 can give the athlete a full 48 hours on campus, and one exists with Oregon helmet wings on the tail.  Soze, chill.

Yes, a Pacific pipeline from Hawaii, Samoa, and Tonga, the last Pacific Kingdom is an excellent start.  A defense with attitude fired up by a pre-game Tongan War Chant is a beautiful thing and can build a tradition of tough, determined D.  Mullens should talk to Will Tukuafu and Haloti Ngata to draft them as coaches after the NFL to see if they fit at UO, again.

Bralon's catch against the Beavs, both toes in, body parallel with the turf, elbow 4 inches above, with total body control sums up his talent.  That photo is my desk top background.  Reviewing it on the wide screen, his right shoelace touched a millisecond before his left elbow.  Looking forward to 2014 offensive output.  PS.,  OSU should tone down the orange, just a little.
