To say aerodynamics makes no difference is incredible. Many courses have lengthy stretches of 200m where speed for even average competitors will nudge 20mph. But what about those days when there's a massive headwind? If every lap you loose just one second on the exposed part of a course, that's potentially 10 yards gap at the finish........
