@kfunct I agree, talent cannot be taught, but defense can be learned. Give him a chance!

Give Thomas the last slot! He will back up Kawhi very nicely, and he is a lights out shooter. Screw Greg Oden, let him take his glass exploding knees to South Beach. Every Miami fan thinks this is going to solve their problems, as if he will play more than 15-20 minutes per game and NOT get dominated by the likes of Roy Hibbert.
I never argued he isn't a good player, and Jackson when brought onto the Spurs was converted from his thuggishness. Re-read my first comment. Metta is a scrub/thug that I am sure Popovich could have converted.
1 year, 1 month ago on Popovich always wanted Metta World Peace on the Spurs?
Yes Metta, aka Ron Artest. Did we already forget about 'Malice at the Palice'? Or his elbow strike to the back of James Harden's head? By scrub, I mean low-life. He is a thug.
@PopKat Thing is, we could also use him to "tune-up" other players, lol jk. But that's mainly what he did on the Lakers, guy is a scrub. I still think Pop could've converted him into a decent Spur though.
Two All-Stars in the making shined this last post season - Kawhi Leonard for the Spurs, and Paul George for the Pacers.

@TomArmstrong He should get some play time I believe. Their front court could use his offensive/defensive rebounding abilities.

Good luck Dejuan, thanks for the memories. Now, onto the quest for 5!!!
His attitude and stupidity aside, Spurs should've picked up on him if they could've matched that 1.6 mil. That's a bargain of a deal for a solid bench player to back up Kawhi...
Kirilenko just took 3.18 million from the Nets using their MLE for 2 years with player option... Why the hell couldn't Buford make this guy come to the Spurs? Our MLE or waving Bonner would've done it at least it seems.....
