He's a pretty decent dunker, smooth and finesse type guy. Don't think he's dunk contest material though. Too bad Tony Mitchell is still in D-League, he could have taken it!

Yeah, kind of agree with BBT...possibly worth it if he plays like he did last year with GSW, but another thing you have to consider is his contract is going to be up before this team is actually competitive any way. Right now we're the bottom feeders of the West and have a worse winning % than last season. Which is deflating considering Cousins is playing out of this world.

I'd rather see the Kings trade Thompson, Thornton and a 2nd rounder for Andre Miller and Mcgee...then we have a legitimate center off the bench. Do a double point guard lineup with A-Mill and keep Benny Mac with the second unit. Then Landry and Dwill could move to the starting lineup, cause right now there is a log jam at PF..and that could only hurt Thompson's and Williams' minutes and confidence

@Django916 Yeah, very true! Let's hope he is the real deal..Lebron seems to be really high on him. A lot of scouts were saying he's supposed to be a Ray Allen who can drive. We can only pray he's that good, lol.
1 year, 2 months ago on Poll: Is Monta Ellis the right fit for the Sacramento Kings?
@EricHutchings And not sure why the Maloofs started sucking so badly, they created a good thing there in early 2000 with their signings (Webber, Doug Christie, Bibby, Miller) and drafts (Peja, Hedo, Crash Wallace, J-Will, Corliss williamson)?
@EricHutchings Ya for sure, this team looks like it's going somewhere...eventually, lol. Better ownership, gm and a good coach now. Hopefully a nice new arena is coming soon. McLemore was a great pick, and good luck he fell that far to them, lol. I'm confident he's gonna be good...and I'm not the biggest LBJ fan, but he seems to think so too, judging by his twitter comments.
@tocan @Kingtut1 Yeah you're right, especially if Cousins can continue to improve. Shaq working with him can only help too
A lineup of Cousins, Evans and McLemore coulda scored well.,especially with a passing PG like Vasquez getting them the ball.
I don't think we should get him..an undersized SG who's not good on D isn't something this new era needs. Especially with the direction Malone wants to go in regards to more defense. Yeah, we need a scorer but I'd rather get Granger with an expiring contract. Plus where is he going to play when McLemore's ready to take over. He could be a bust still but I really doubt that. If they were going to spend on Ellis, I'd rather we gave it to Tyreke and tried him at SF.
