@Demarcus Cousins basically there's a group of haters that want to stop the historic progress that's been made to keep the Kings in Sacramento.

okay, the (more) unbiased version? A group called STOP has arranged for the necessary 22,000 petitions to put the Kings arena initiative on a ballot in November, not only throwing into question the entire process, but also delaying it further should it finally get approved. However, the funding and signatures for these types of things must originate within the city, and some of the funding is suspected to come from Chris Hansen, the owner of the group that was trying to buy the team and move it to Seattle- obviously a serious conflict of interest. Therefore, the city is required to verify all sigs and funding before the petition is even considered for a chance at being on the ballot.

that's MY understanding, which is far from perfect.

@asharma6 I'm sorry dude but you're trippin...

I usually don't even look at these trade machine deals cuz their garbage but something told me to give it a try...

1st: why is it that whenever people on this board to trades, the Kings are clearly getting the best deal and/or most players? Teams only do deals if it makes sense for all parties...

2nd: regardless of the Thunder's need at PG, no way they are giving up Lamb.. which actually their PG need isn't all that great in reality- Jackson is just as good as Fredette, the problem is neither of them are Westbrook.. their not gonna give up two of their most prized young talents for Fredette and an expensive but extremely replaceable Thornton...

I don't even need to go to #3 or look at the salaries... deal is dead.

@Kingznut while I agree Jimmer is playing well, one (or two, maybe?) bad game from IT hardly means he shouldn't be the starter... IT is way more explosive and a better creator... him, Rudy, and Cuzz avg almost 60 points together, that's a big three that competes with any in the league...

you know in his 21 games as starter he's averaging 21.8 points, and 7.8 assists, right?

I think this role is perfect for Jimmer, he can come off the bench for IT or for Thornton and form a combo guard lineup... I would maybe just try and get him 20 mins a game instead of 12-15... and keep D-Will and JT both around 25-30 depending on who's playing well...

and to think, Landry gonna be coming back and we know Malone likes him so who will lose minutes then? Depth isn't a problem we've had to deal with in years, but it's the best kind of problem to have LOL...

@Cowbb totally agree at playing his starters too late in this game... maybe he was still a little scurred from the crazy run that Portland made down 14 with 4min left LOL...

I think he def had that in mind, but I noticed he actually sent the subs to the bench with around 3 min but there weren't any dead balls... he should have just called that TO earlier but like u said he's figuring it out...

As far as Jimmer if he's starting to show his potential we should want to keep him... with the way Thornton is playing I'd say keep Jimmer and boot Marcus to the curb... we don't need a pure scorer anymore, we need someone who can do a little more like Jimmer... but he's still not really playing like a point guard, so I kind of like the IT/Jimmer combo they played today for a few mins... as well as the big lineup that dominated the 4th... I think Malone is starting to find his diff lineups- you know his big/speed/defensive combos, etc... oh I forgot to ask, who was mentioned in the possible Jimmer trade from Denver?

@al asifyouknow @Tom69223879 I'm sorry but I think y'all are trippin... have you seen the dude on the court this year? Clearly a 1st option type of player, should be in the all-star game if it weren't for his *past* antics... but he has been much more under control this year...

honestly Gasol has more votes than Cousins? he's playing so bad the Lakers are trying to get rid of him, LOL... but I guess that's a benefit of playing in a big market, cuz u know 90% of his votes came from L.A. smh...

then again, I just saw that Lin has more votes than Harden lol...

then again, everything is easier in the East, Cousins would be 7th in voting over there...

@vonhulland I kind of agree with Ben playing less, whether starting or not... since the Gay trade, Williams has lost a lot of minutes right when he was starting to really kick it into gear.. give an extra 10+ min to Derrick instead of McLemore I think it would be good for the team and also give Ben time to watch the game and grow... maybe let Ben keep "starting"  so it won't hurt his confidence, but let Williams play more and end games...

@CaliJuice916 Thank You!

I been saying this since the day we traded for him. Everyone trashing his shooting %, but he is a career 44.7% shooter, with several seasons in Memphis at 46 or 47%.. You don't just lose your shooting touch, so it's gotta be shot selection, or a reflection of his unhappiness in Toronto.

no matter what we do, just please no Monta Ellis!

would make the departure of Tyreke pointless... to pay an over-rated older version of Tyreke who is less efficient and is not going to get any better...

so far I rate the new King's front office moves in the solid B range, but if they did this, it would immediately fall to C- range...
