"It's my fault. I wasn't running hard," he said. "That's an easy hit for
CC [Crawford]. I took a hit away from CC. CC has every right to be mad
at me, because that was my fault. The results of me not running hard to
home plate, I kind of tweaked my ankle a little bit. I'm more
disappointed I wasn't running hard like I should have been."

@Lobo @qmwnebrvtycuxiz @Mike Petriello You are right. But why did it have to have to happen to Kemp as soon as he got back. Wow. Hasn't he reached his quota these past two years. We are going to have start calling him Raffy after he was the most durable, no the least durable.

@Lobo @qmwnebrvtycuxiz @Mike Petriello gonzales and rameriez were out of the lop-sided game. But not Kemp because he's gotta play. But again I agree he needs the at bats. But it is unfortunate. I don't want to accept that he got hurt. And it can mess up his swing again just as he was getting it back.
@Lobo @qmwnebrvtycuxiz @Mike Petriello
It seems like Matt is cursed. He tries so hard. As soon as he comes up for air someone knocks him on the head again. I'm just trying to put the "blame" somewhere.
@Mike Petriello @qmwnebrvtycuxiz
I think it is automatic you run hard two outs and the bases loaded. No rule that says were are ahead by so many runs so I'll lolly-gag it. At least that is what I learned.
Did I read somewhere that someone put a spell on Matt Kemp. Crazy huh.
Shouldn't you be running hard with two outs and the bases loaded? He should have already scored. I as at the game and saw it.
@Cochito Commish @qmwnebrvtycuxiz Thanks. It seems strange that they won't release the totals. I wonder if anyone will drop out and Puig will still get in. I think he needs a rest anyway though. At least he won't get hurt at the All Star Game.

Why don't they tell us how many votes Puig and the first guy got?
@Guatemalan Insanity Pepper @qmwnebrvtycuxiz In the 70's we developed players and brought them up and they did it the Dodger way. We did that in the 2000's a bit too with Kemp, Kershaw, Bills, Martin and they stayed together a bit and were good. "Overachieved" but we didn't seem to have the money to get that final piece.

@Guatemalan Insanity Pepper @qmwnebrvtycuxiz I think we could have been more consistent winners. Lasorda, as much as I loved him was impatient with them. Win once now means losing several times later.
@TellMyWifeISaidHello @qmwnebrvtycuxiz I meant to say late 80's. 86 on through the 90 and the early 2000's, and the mid 2000s.
@efb @qmwnebrvtycuxiz @PagansOedipalComplex I do feel bad for Kemp. He wants so baldy to play and do well and he is quite capable of it when healthy. It is almost a flukish amount of "bad luck" that has happened to him.
Dodgers trade Andre Ethier and minor-leaguers Joc Pederson, pitchers Chris Reed and Stephen Fife to the Philadelphia Phillies for left-handerCliff Lee and second baseman Chase Utley.
No. We just need to buy a pitcher. We gave up a lot of young talent under Lasorda, year in and year out, anybody remember Martinez, and had that long drought in the 80's and 90's. 88 was somewhat of a fluke.
@PagansOedipalComplex There was a little debate on how injured he really was this time. Did the team want to sit him and put him on injured reserve so he could save face? Kemp seemed to indicate he was not really that injured. Or are they just making sure it REALLY heals so he won't mess it up again. We are just hearing now, that it was an issue earlier this year and last year.
@efb @qmwnebrvtycuxiz Do you think that would have be best for the Dodgers while in a penant race?
@efb @qmwnebrvtycuxiz you mean to get back into MVP form?
When Matt Kemp said he wanted to play every day no matter what when we seemed to have four starting outfielders was that in a selfish, I don't care if makes more sense to play someone else against a certain pitcher or someone who is hitting better and or driving in more runs than me, I just wanted play because it is less boring on the bench or was it because of some other reason.
No. I love the Dodgers and like Matt.

Matt [dead weight] Kemp might help is in 2014. For now bat him 8th and keep him on the bench.
