Amazing, I cant wait! I wonder if you can still do the cheap goal where you dip behind goalie in the corner and cut across the front of the net. Worked every time, but it was always frowned upon lol.

Definitely a Heineken when the resign step, but when we score more than 2 goals a game and a pp goal it's usually champagne haha.

You can't teach speed, he brings an element of speed that vignaults system thrives on.

You're kidding right? Four years is a lifetime in the league, and he still makes the same bonehead mistakes night in and night out. He has the tools to be a decent offensive defenseman (if he doesn't shoot wide every shot) but that's half the equation, you need the smarts on defense as well which he doesn't have. You need to know when and when not to pinch, I couldn't tell you how many 2 on 1's poor staal was hung out to dry on because he pinched and turned the puck over. He seems lost in his own zone, how many times does he make a terrible read and chase the man with the puck to leave someone wide open in front (Ryan carter game 5 dagger). Bottom line I know I've used this reference before but just because you have the tools doesn't make you a good player it's the smarts that take you to the successful level, Mark Sanchez can throw the ball a mile, has great mobility but has no iq when it comes to the game which is why he's bust, the same with delzotto, great tools no smarts. If he couldn't handle the defensive responsibility in a basic grind style defensive system how on earth is he king to handle the defensive responsibility in a uptempo offensive system?

enough with delzaster as a puck moving defenseman, Rosen was a broken record all year, "delzotto shoots WIDE". Not to mention he was a minus all year and is a cancer to whoever his line mate is, staal before his injury was having an awful year and guess who his line mate was delzotto, game 3 against Boston Girardi who's been a rock all year for us other than mcdonnagh has an alarming -4 and guess who his line mate was, you guessed it delzotto, game 4 without delzotto Girardi was a +1 and back to his old self. Face it the kid is a cancer, yes he has the tools but lacks the smarts and I'm tired of people giving him a pass because he has "potential" because that's what everyone did with mark Sanchez, its been 4 years and his defensive skills have gotten progressively worse. With the emergence of stralman I'd rather have him as the puck moving dman In vignaults system and clear the cap space with delzotto while he still has some value.

Well Powe eas waived a couple of days ago allng with asham but trading pyatt wouldn't really be a tremendous cap saver. Delzotto has been anything but trending up, he was a skating minus all year and was by far the worst I've ever seen him during the playoffs, and with the emergence of stralman I feel he could be expendable to save cap. With the Dominic Moore signing what does this day for Boyle? I feel he's too slow for vignaults style anyway.

Am I the only one that has a feeling a trade is coming real soon? With all these depth defenseman transactions slots has been making I feel that all signs point to a dman on his way out mostly to shed some cap. With the Moore signing I can see a delzotto Boyle package. I know they're depth defenseman but this is a next man up league now just ask Torrey Krug (that name still pains me to say). This is all speculation but we have to assume a trade is imminent, what do you guys think?
