Thanks again to all  the gang at , MLHS. At least there was plenty to write about this seasonn : (

To all Leaf fans, stay the course. Being a fan is a lesson in loyalty and devotion. Many people tell me that I should let my 10 year old son cheer for a winning team. By that logic, if he ever gets married, he should leave his wife if she develops an illnesses.  No, he is learning to stick it out through hard times. The team is on the way up, we have just hit another stumbling block, that's all. Burkie got it going, Leiwike came in and had to get a feel for the town and he has a different style, so things as head office needed time to sort themselves out.

As Alex said , we are there through thick and thin. Thin times right now, but I believe, when the thick times come, they will last a longtime.

Happy spring and summer to all.

@Burtonboy Yes, we get the worst deal in pro sports, by far. As sad, isappointed and pissed off ads I am I won't quit being a fan. I bleed blue and today I  feel like a murder victim lying in a  pool of that blue. I moved to BC 9 years ago and have  taken nothing but abuse for my loyalty. But that is the difference between Leaf fans and all the rest...undying LOYALTY!!!  Just about every Habs fan I know is late 40's and likes them only because they were a little kid and they wanted to cheer for a winning team, a la Lafleur and company. They really are not hockey fans, they are justband wagon jumoers. There kis also a generation, thiugh smaller, of Devil's fans I know.

We will live to fight another day. Unfortunately today we are beaten dogs licking our wounds in the corner. Carlyle probably has to fall on the sword for this one. You can't throw away the core we just paid so handsomely for.

I am sick of the abuse I take for geing a loyal fan, but that is the price of loyalty. The Leaf Nation is strong and some day, hopefully sooner, the taste of victory be akl the more sweet. The Red Sox git their World Series. I cannot imagine Leweike is going to drop the ball on this one. The core isbstrong and we need to add to it. "We shall never surrender."

Yeah, the HNIC commentators have to go. I have been watching games online from US feeds and their commentators are far more balanced and realistic. As well, they don't go on and on with usless 'insights'. Healey was a 2nd rate goalie and is a 3rd rate commentator.

@rustynail @Loric76 @Radar O'Rielly The fact that Grabo didn't say a word and still played like he did in the playoffs is testament to the fact that he has character.
